DEXTER

I watched my brother’s Alpha wolf, Inferno, step into the hallway through the eyes of my wolf, Draco.

Inferno was a black Alpha wolf, around the same size as my wolf, with blood-red eyes. He was my twin brother’s crazed Alpha king wolf - the infamous red wolf.

Inferno slowly walked towards us with his fangs bared. It wasn’t the first time I was meeting my brother’s Alpha wolf; however, it would be the first time we fought on opposing sides.

“Move.” Eros’s voice flooded my mind, taking me by surprise.

Inferno was a very powerful and selfish wolf, the first of his kind. Unlike my wolf, who worked in perfect sync with me, my twin brother’s wolf preferred to have total control when he was around.

Which made him ten times more dangerous and wild - two combinations I was not willing to get close to my mate.

“Get him away from here,” I growled, unmoving. “He is not coming anywhere close to her.”

A low growl left Inferno’s throat at my words, and his Alpha aura exploded in the air. Dra

IRAI walked into the hallway in a pretty decent mood. Bickering with Dexter grounded me from the many thoughts that plagued my mind.I couldn't lie that being around my mates improved my mood and made me a bit stronger. Billie's words returned to me, and I wondered if that was the case.If my being around the twins was improving my mood as well as my wolf. My heart leapt at the thought of getting Khanos back on board.I'd never do something so stupid again.I walked down the hallway and soon noticed the odd looks that were thrown my way.Not to mention the fact that people seemed to be avoiding me like a plague. My brows furrowed, and my grip tightened around the phone as I proceeded to history class."Killer," I heard someone whisper and stopped in my tracks, unable to believe my ears."What did you say?" I asked, unable to stop myself. The girl group didn't dignify my words with a response. As a matter of fact, they all walked away, leaving me to my thoughts.I looked around, notin

IRADexter didn't go easy on me."Come on," he said a few metres away from me. "You can do better than this."I sat on the floor, unable to move my legs."No more running," I gritted, trying to catch my breath from running on the treadmill for three hours.THREE BLOODY HOURS. He was trying to kill me."Your legs need more work," Dexter said. I could tell he was seconds away from laughing. I couldn't for the life of me understand what was funny."At this rate, you won't be able to run properly even if your life depended on it, not to mention competing," he said, but I didn't care."Good thing my life doesn't depend on it," I responded. Took a deep breath and added, "At least, not right now.""Fair enough." Dexter walked up to me and helped me off the ground.I couldn't deny the fact that my heart skipped a beat as soon as his hands touched mine. The bond between us flared, tugging at my heartstrings.Dexter leaned in to me, and it was honestly a miracle he could stand so close to me wi

IRAMy heart skipped at Eros' endearment, and right there and then, something shifted between us.A bond. One I never believed I'd feel towards Eros. Trust. The twins stared at me, waiting for my decision. Right there and then, I knew it. I knew that if I said no, it would be fine. No judgments, no questions asked. For the first time ever, I truly believed they were both on my side. No power imbalance, no angst, just an even balance between us.The surreal feeling of genuine acceptance and solidarity filled me with an equal measure of reassurance and guilt. The bond blossomed in my chest, creating a three-way connection that felt so real I could taste it on my tongue."Yes," I croaked, breaking the silence. "Tell me what I need to do."Dexter's eyes remained on me as Eros went through the game plan."You will stay in this house all through the duration of the preparation and tournament," he started. "Until everything is settled

IRAWhatever sense of peace I had was flushed down the toilet as I watched life leave the young lady before me.My heart pounded in my chest, and I felt heavy as I stared at the now limp body on the floor."They want me," I said, breathing hard. "They wanted me," I muttered again, feeling my blood race. "Whatever compelled her did that to her to get to me."Dexter held my hand, not saying a word. He agreed. He knew I was right. The stiff silence in the air was proof.I couldn't stay here any longer. My hands trembled, and I suddenly returned to that little girl in the woods. My mother's words rang strongly in my head - a firm reminder of the reason I needed to get out of here.Run away, Ira...Don't let them find you...Hide Khanos...My head hurt from the amount of thoughts that ran through it by the second. Adrenaline flooded my system, bringing a strong need to flee and get out of this place before they found m

EROSMy wolf raged within me as I waited for her.Our mate. It's been three days. Three days since I saw her making out with Dexter. Three days of constant torture from my wolf.He wanted to see her. He wanted to mate with her. He wanted to have her with him at all times. It was insane just how obsessed and hard to control my wolf was becoming since Ira's disappearance. As though it wasn't already difficult controlling my hybrid wolf.I stood at the curtains of the Alpha's house built in the Academy, looking through the window for signs of their coming.I discharged Elias for the day and finished my business with Elder Nightingale, who somehow failed to acquire fresh DNA from Ira as we earlier discussed.I hoped we could catch a glimpse of just what it was about her that made me feel off, but there was no such thing. Somehow, Ira managed to escape the clinic, evading the process.A part of me wondered if it was all a coi

IRAI stepped out of the classroom, brimming with anger.Jules' words played in my head like a never-ending loop. He's mine...I heard her words over and over again, driving me to the pinnacle of insanity. I trudged out of the classroom building, ready to call it a day, and brimming from the amount of anger that bred within me as I tried to analyze her interaction with Dexter from before.Dexter didn't seem to care about her. That bit was clear with how he interacted with her. However, I couldn't trust that there was nothing between them. The thought of having Dexter, or Eros, being involved with anyone else brought a sore taste to my mouth. My entire body revolted against it.It felt all shades of wrong. Absolutely and entirely wrong. My nose was assaulted by the scent of my mate as soon as I stepped onto the streets. So much so, my body tingled and a ghost of the mate pull ran through my system, leaving me almost breathless.
