Chapter 4: Vlad

VLAD

We arrived at the race it was crowded. Enzo turned to me and said," I told you man".

I rolled my eyes at him, started to walk to the car and we came here in, an lit a cigarette.

Then I saw her again, she looked so different then last night.

She only had one drink and was dancing again.

Then they announced the race and I saw her grab the girls she was with and run over to them.

I saw her talking to someone and she didn't look happy.

I had no idea what was going on.

Then she went to a car and got in.

I watch her race this one guy.

She looked very professional.

Then she was done, she beat the shit out of him.

I was going to introduce myself to her but as I was making my way over her friends ran over.

I stopped in my tracks and just stared at her.

I told myself I will talk to her as soon as I can get her alone.

Then out of nowhere she was dancing with her friends again.

She looked so beautiful, and sexy as hell all at the same time.

The announcers called for the next round and she kissed her girls on the cheek and got back in the car again.

I guess she had two races tonight.

Then I saw the guy that was talking to her earlier drive next to her. She and him were talking and I had no idea what they were talking about.

I see her turn to him and wink and blow him a kiss.

Then they were sitting there for a little bit longer.

He said something else then she was off in the lead, then he passed her.

At the first bend I see her place him again.

The next thing I knew he was ramming her car and I wanted to do was punch his face in.

She held her own and kicked his ass.

They got out and the crowd went crazy.

She was talking to her friends, out of nowhere one of them went up to him and said something.

At this time I was getting close, when I noticed he was about to walk away.

Then he went to turn around again this time I saw he was about to punch her.

So, I decided to reach out and catch his hand.

I looked back at the crowd and saw her, then punched him in the face.

He hit the ground hard I turned around and they were gone.

A full fight broke out. Enzo and I ran to the car as fast as we could.

Enzo and I were in the car he turned to me and asked me, "What the hell was that man?".

I looked at him, I was going to say something but decided not to.

I turned to look back out the window.

We got to the club, I figured they would show up.

But to my dismay they didn't.

Enzo wouldn't shut the fuck up all night asking over and over about what fuck was I thinking.

I turned to him and said," I don't know, man".

I didn't want to tell him that I just wanted to protect the girl of my dreams.

I went to the office and looked her up because the announcer said her name.

But she was that easy to find.

I found her page on I*******m and noticed that she has a love for cars.

I poured myself a whiskey dry, and kept looking at her profile.

Call it obsession, but whatever you would too.

Enzo walked in and looked at me.

He asked again, "What were you thinking, man".

I said, "he was going to hit a girl, that shit ain't cool man".

Enzo then asked, " Did you at least have fun?".

I looked at him, took another sip.

I replied,"What do you think?".

Enzo laughed at me, then said "Man, you kicked that little punk ass!".

What he doesn't know I would do again for her.

Enzo left the office.

I sat there in deep thought.

At some point I got so drunk I passed out.
