Why did I feel so peaceful here? I was surrounded by a field of purple flowers. There were some flowers I recognized, others I did not. One of the flowers I recognized were lilacs, which were my favorite flower.

It seemed as if all my worries have just faded from me completely. If anything, I felt like I was whole. Other than this nagging feeling I had in the back of my mind that told me I didn’t belong here.

Ignoring that, I walked through the rows of flowers, occasionally bending over to smell them. Every flower I came across looked beautiful and healthy, as if they have been well cared for. I was careful not to step on one.

“Leilani.” I heard someone call my name, but when I looked around, I didn’t see anyone.

Shrugging my shoulders, I continued my adventure through the flowers. When I came across a flower that didn’t seem right, I stopped walking. There was something strange about it.
