Katrina felt something undeniably wet on her face, she settled back, her eyes still covered with the daze of sleep and made herself comfortable on the bed. As she was going back to the land of sleep, the wet substance rubbed her face again, this time it was accompanied by something soft.

"Skippy, will you stop?" She exclaimed, holding her little dog and carrying her from her face where she seemed to contently licking. Yes, yes, Katrina had finally got the dog that she wanted, Skippy was a small white poodle that did not seem to understand that his fur was actually white as he kept on rolling about in any thing dirty and jumping, yipping, basically happily playing, everywhere, with no care that his fur was white, Katrina absolutely loved him.

"Merry Christmas Sis," her sister shouted from outside her door and Katrina smiled wistfully, it had been one whole year since the last Christmas, which was the most of eventful one of her life and so much had occurred after then.
