That night, Leonard stood in an empty building on the outskirts of the city, his face full of confidence. In his hand, there was a cell phone displaying important messages for his men. The plan to harm Miya was almost complete. He would not let Damian win.
“Make sure Miya doesn't get out of the mansion. If necessary, make a big enough ruckus so Victor and Marcus can't focus on protecting her,” Leonard ordered over the cell phone.
However, unbeknownst to him, one of Marcus' men had infiltrated his communication network. The messages were relayed directly to Marcus.
At Damian's mansion, Marcus read the report seriously. “Leonard's on the move again,” he told Victor, who immediately stood up.
“We have to act fast. I won't let him touch Miya,” Victor replied in a firm tone.
A car was speeding through the streets of Northderm. Leonard tried to escape after realizing that his plan had been leaked. However, behind him, Marcus' team was ready to give chase.
“Don't let him get away!” exclaimed Marcus over the radio communication.
Leonard drove his car wildly, trying to avoid the blockade that had been set up. But his luck ran out when one of Marcus' vehicles managed to squeeze his car to the side of the road.
The sound of sirens and screams broke the night. Leonard was dragged out of his car by force by Marcus' team.
“Your game is over, Leonard,” Marcus said in a cold tone.
Leonard just smiled sarcastically even though his face showed fatigue. “You think catching me means you've won? It's not over yet.”
Marcus gave him a sharp look. “You won't have another chance. Damian will make sure of that.”
Damian looked at Leonard who was now tied to a metal chair in the basement of his mansion. Damian's face was full of tension, but his eyes showed pent-up anger.
“Leonard,” Damian began in a low voice. “This time, there will be no mercy. You're not only trying to harm my wife, but also destroy everything that belongs to me.”
Leonard snorted, trying to maintain his cocky demeanor. “You spoil Miya too much. She's just a burden, Damian. And I'm just trying to remind you of that.”
Damian stepped forward, grabbing Leonard's jaw firmly. “Don't ever mention her name in that tone. You will pay a heavy price for this.”
Damian's orders were clear. Leonard was moved to a much more secluded and heavily guarded place. It was specially designed to ensure Leonard couldn't communicate with the outside world.
Damian contacted Marcus after that. “Make sure no one knows his whereabouts, not even Harold. This is my business now.”
Marcus replied with a nod. “Understood. We will maintain security here.”
Meanwhile, at Damian's main house, Rebecca sat alone in her room. Rebecca's eyes looked blankly at the picture of Damian that she had once lovingly kept.
“He doesn't even look at me anymore,” Rebecca muttered in a trembling voice. “All of this is because of Miya. She ruined everything.”
However, in her heart, Rebecca knew that Damian no longer loved her. Damian had decided on Miya as the only woman he had chosen.
When Damian came to talk to her, Rebecca tried to retain some of her dignity. “Damian, I know I was wrong. But I just want to be by your side...”
Damian let out a long breath, his gaze cold. “Rebecca, I've given you more chances than I should have. But this is enough. I only kept you here out of mercy, not love.”
Rebecca gasped at those words. Her tears flowed, but she no longer had any arguments to defend herself.
“If you want to stay here, obey my rules. Never again try to interfere in my business with Miya,” Damian added before leaving her.
A few days later, Damian invited many important guests to a dinner he hosted at his mansion. Miya, who initially thought it was just a normal dinner, seemed confused by the extravagance on display.
“Damian, why are there so many guests? I thought it was just a small dinner,” she asked in a confused tone.
Damian smiled slightly, taking Miya's hand gently. “Trust me. I just want to share some good news.”
Miya had no choice but to follow Damian. As they entered the main room, all eyes were on them. Damian led Miya to the center of the room and began to speak.
“Thank you for coming tonight,” Damian opened his speech in a confident voice. “I want to share some very exciting news for our family. My wife, Miya, is pregnant with our first child.”
The room was filled with applause and congratulations. Miya was silent, her face flushed with shock.
“Damian, you didn't tell me you were going to do this...” she whispered softly.
Damian smiled warmly, his eyes loving. “I want the world to know that you are my wife and the mother of my child. I don't want to hide this happiness.”
Damian then raised his glass, looking at all the guests with conviction. “Miya is the woman who has changed my life. She is not only my wife, but also my future. Our child is a testament to our love, and I wish you all could celebrate this happiness with us.”
A guest approached, congratulating her while looking at Miya. “Mrs. Damian, you are a very lucky woman. Damian is truly a wonderful man.”
Miya smiled shyly. “Thank you. I just hope I can be a good wife and mother.”
Meanwhile, Damian stayed by her side, making sure she was comfortable amidst all the attention. He even patiently answered questions from guests who were curious about their lives.
In the corner of the room, Hera and Victor glanced at each other, smiling a little at Miya's happiness. “Damian has really changed,” Hera whispered. “He loves Miya more than anything.”
Victor nodded. “And it's the best thing that ever happened to him.”
Not far from them, however, Rebecca watched it all with mixed feelings. She knew that her life with Damian was truly over.

Rebecca stared at her phone screen blankly. News about Damian and Miya was still scattered everywhere. The intimate pictures of them at the last party were the talk of the town, depicting how much Damian adored Miya. Rebecca's heart felt squeezed. Tight. She knew she had lost everything, including the chance to make amends.
That night, on her balcony, Rebecca took a deep breath as she sipped red wine. The cold autumn wind swept through her hair, but she didn't care. Inside her, a storm was raging. “I have to go,” she whispered to herself.
The next day, Rebecca met Hera at a small café on the corner of town. Hera, her mother-in-law, looked at her with a sharp gaze mixed with pity. Although their relationship was strained because of Rebecca's past behavior, Hera still cared.
“Are you serious about living abroad?” asked Hera, looking into Rebecca's puffy eyes.
Rebecca nodded slowly. “I can't stay here, Mom. I can't bear to see them happy. Damian... he means too much to me. But now, I'm just a bad shadow in their lives.”
Hera took a deep breath before answering. “Rebecca, I know you're sorry for everything that happened. But running away is not the solution. How about you try starting over here, without disturbing Damian and Miya?”
“I've tried, Mom. But every time I see them, I feel broken. I know I was wrong, and I don't deserve forgiveness. But please, let me go. I need time to accept all of this,” Rebecca said in a trembling voice.
Hera grasped Rebecca's hand tightly. “If that's what you need, I won't stand in the way. But promise me, Rebecca, you will find a way to find peace.”
Rebecca smiled slightly. “I promise, Mom.”
Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Damian and Miya were preparing for a new step in their lives. Miya, now five months pregnant, decided with Damian to have a private wedding. Her unstable health condition made them choose a simple but warm event.
“Are you sure it's okay if the wedding is small?” asked Damian as he held Miya's hand.
Miya smiled gently. “Of course, Damian. What matters is that we're together. I don't need a big party to prove our love.”
Damian looked at her lovingly. “You always make things simple but meaningful.”
The wedding day arrived. A small villa by the lake was the perfect setting for the sacred moment. The afternoon sky was orange, reflecting its beauty on the calm surface of the water. Miya walked slowly down the simple altar decorated with white lilies, accompanied by her closest friend. Damian stood at the end of the altar, dressed in an elegant black suit. Their eyes met, and it was as if the world stopped spinning.
Damian greeted Miya with a gentle smile. “You're beautiful,” he whispered as she stood before him.
Miya smiled shyly, happy tears pooling in the corners of her eyes. “And you make me feel like the luckiest woman in the world.”
The ceremony was solemn, attended only by family and closest friends. When Damian said his wedding vows, his voice was full of sincerity. “I promise to love you, protect you, and always be there for you, Miya. You are a new world that I never imagined, but I can't live without.”
Miya replied in a trembling voice. “I also promise to love you with all my heart. With you, I feel whole, Damian.”
As the rings wrapped around their fingers, a small cheer went up from the guests. Damian hugged Miya gently, kissing her forehead lovingly. They knew this was the beginning of a new journey.
That night, they sat under a starry sky, accompanied by candlelight and the sound of gurgling lake water. Miya leaned on Damian's shoulder, her hand gently caressing her growing belly. Damian looked at her lovingly.
“I can't wait to see us become parents,” Damian said as he took Miya's hand.
“Me too. I'm sure you'll be a great father,” Miya replies.
Damian smiled, then kissed Miya's forehead again. In the silence of the night, only love enveloped them. Happiness felt so close, as if nothing could separate them anymore.

In another place far away, Rebecca looked at her plane ticket to Paris. She knew this was not the end of her story, but a new beginning. With heavy but hopeful steps, she stepped towards the departure gate. In her heart, she prayed that she could find the peace she had lost.
That night, Leonard stood in an empty building on the outskirts of the city, his face full of confidence. In his hand, there was a cell phone displaying important messages for his men. Damian sat quietly in the small interrogation room, staring at Tedy who was tied to the chair in front of him. In the corner of the room, Harold stood restlessly, going through a pile of documents and notes.“He won't talk,” Harold muttered, breaking the silence.Damian raised one eyebrow, his expression cold. “Everyone has a soft spot. If he doesn't talk now, I'll make sure he regrets his silence.”Tedy looked up, his face scarred but his smile mocking. “You think I'm afraid of you, Damian? I've survived this far. You won't get anything out of me.”Damian leaned closer, his voice low but threatening. “I don't need your confession, Tedy. I just want to make sure that you have no way out. Harold, prepare the documents for the court martial. I want him processed as soon as possible.”Harold looked at Damian skeptically. “Court martial? Damian, this will attract great attention. Are you sure this is the right move?”Damian nodded firmly. “Leonard can't communicate with Tedy anymore. It's
Damian stepped into the room with a cold stare. The place was dark, lit only by a few low-hanging chandeliers, creating long shadows on the walls. Harold, the police chief who was Damian's partner, was already waiting there with some of his men. In the corner of the room, Tedy, Leonard's assistant, sat tied to a chair. His face was bruised, but his gaze remained defiant.“What did you find here?” Damian asked Harold matter-of-factly.Harold let out a long breath. “Not much. We only found traces of a small fight. Some of our guards were attacked in a very organized way. Leonard escaped with the help of someone who knows the ins and outs of this place very well.”Damian turned to Tedy. “This guy,” he said, pointing at the bound man. “He must know something. He was Leonard's right-hand man for years.”Marcus, who was standing next to Damian, approached with a tense face. “Let me do the talking first,” he said. Marcus approached Tedy and looked at him intensely. “Tell me where Leonard is
Rebecca sat in her office with a sharp gaze. In front of her, a man in a neat suit but looking nervous stood up while handing over a thick file. The man, one of Rebecca's confidants, sighed before speaking.“Mrs. Rebecca, this is all the information we managed to gather about the woman living in Mr. Damian's mansion,” he said in a careful tone.Rebecca opened the file and began to read carefully. Inside were photos of Miya walking in the garden with Hera and Kayoko, Miya looking happy while holding her growing belly, even some medical reports from the doctor who handled her pregnancy. Rebecca's face turned red, her eyes widened in anger.“Pregnancy? So this is the reason he's so protective of that woman?” her voice raised, making the man in front of her look down even deeper.“Yes, ma'am. That woman is pregnant. The doctor is Dr. Hana from the specialty clinic downtown,” the man replied in an almost whispered tone.Rebecca slammed the file onto the table. “Damian never told me anythin
Miya sat on the living room sofa with a worried face. The atmosphere of the mansion had been different since morning. The extra guards Damian had brought in were pacing back and forth with serious looks on their faces. Miya looked at the cup of tea in her hand, not really in the mood to drink it. Kayoko sat beside her, trying to break the ice with funny stories, but Miya's concern was still evident.“Miya, you're thinking too much,” Kayoko said as she thrust a piece of cake at Miya. “Try eating this. If you continue like that, Damian will definitely worry.”Miya let out a long breath. “I just feel like something's not right. All this... the extra security, Damian being more protective than usual, makes me wonder.”Desi, Miya's personal assistant, who was sitting not far from them, finally spoke up. “Mrs. Miya, there's actually something that Mr. Damian is furious about. Someone he was keeping an eye on... escaped from his watch. That's why he's tightened the security in this mansion.
That morning, the atmosphere at the Sawyer mansion was different. Damian was seen talking to some well-built men who had just arrived in the courtyard. Miya watched from the living room window, sensing something unusual. Kayoko, who was sitting next to her enjoying her morning tea, also glanced out.“What is Damian doing?” Miya asked quietly, more to herself.Kayoko turned her head and smiled slightly. “Maybe he just wants to make sure everything is safe. You know how Damian is.”Miya nodded, but curiosity got the better of her. She decided to wait until Damian came in to ask him directly. Not long after, Damian appeared in the living room. His face looked tense, but he tried to hide it with a small smile when he saw Miya.“What's going on, Damian?” she asked directly.Damian came over and sat next to her. He grasped Miya's hand gently. “Just a precaution. There's nothing for you to worry about.”Miya looked at him skeptically. “But why the extra security? Does this have anything to d
