Findings!Topaz woke up from her sleep panting and breathing heavily from the nightmare she just had. Immediately she sat down, a nauseous feeling hit her and she rushed immediately to the bathroom where she emptied all the contents in her stomach. She hadn't eaten yesterday throughout yesterday and this morning so why was she vomiting? Probably because of all the crying and sobbing she had undergone. She rinsed her mouth and tried freshening up but she felt instantly weak and tired. The constant crying and lamenting had drained her as she climbed on the bed and drifted off to sleep again.Adams was in his office looking at the pictures of Topaz on his phone from the pictures of their honeymoon to the present ones. He couldn't believe that innocent face that he kissed every day was capable of doing much to him. He already had his lawyers send her the divorce papers and Claus which she had to abide by to see Michelson. He couldn't afford to let his child be with that good for nothing.
Topaz's POV I wanted to make sure of my results, so I rushed to the hospital for a proper checkup. Sometimes, those test strips were faulty so I had to do a proper blood test. I finally switched on my phone and I didn't see any missed call from Adams. I wondered how he was doing, if he was okay or if he was still in a bad temper. I opened my camera and glanced through the numerous pictures we had taken together and the ones I had taken of him alone. It had been 5 days since the incident and I missed seeing his face especially when he slept. I looked at a particular picture I took of him when he was sound asleep with fluffy Adams in his arms. I zoomed the picture and took a closer look at his face. His lawyer had finally gotten to me with the divorce papers and the various Claus for me to abide by before I see Michelson. I wasn't even ready to sign those papers and honestly, I didn't have the time because I was seriously down with this issue of being pregnant. I contemplated pulling
Love conquers All.It had been a month since Topaz had been admitted in the hospital, she was still unconscious from the accident. Adams didn't for a day leave her side as he sat by her everyday praying and hoping she would open her eyes. The doctors had managed to save the baby even though it was almost impossible, it was a miracle that the baby had survived all that trauma. The doctors had told him to be positive and keep praying and deep down, he believed she would wake up. People had been visited her from Margaret to everyone in the family. They had even volunteered to stay with her while he goes home and gets some rest but he refused saying he didn't want her to wake up at any point and not find him beside her. The doctors had said it was rare for a pregnant woman to be in coma and the baby actually survives so they told Adams to keep praying that she wakes up and with the baby in good shape. If he hadn't left her side, all this wouldn't have happened, his baby wouldn't have had
Adams sat down by the hospital bed doing some work on his laptop. The hospital had become his new office and home as he spent all his time there doing the things he was supposed to be doing in either his house or the office. He just wanted to be by her side and protect her at all costs. He looked at her beautiful face and smiled. Even in her suffering, she still looked beautiful. He put away his laptop and took her hands in his."Topaz Anderson, I can't wait for you to finally wake up. I know you can hear me and I just want to say this, I promise you this time around, I would never leave your side. I promised to protect you once and I failed. But this time around, I swear with everything in me that I would never let anyone hurt you again. I promise to be a better husband to you and a better father to our children, Michelson and our little one yet to be born. I made a mistake Topaz which I regret terribly and I'm sorry." he cried as tears rolled from his eyes." I'm sorry I wasn't ther

Her fairy-tale seemed to be ripped away from her, and her world crumbled even harder. The wind was whipping through the trees, creaking and groaning like an old rocking chair, causing body tremble and teeth chatter from the twenty-two-year-old Topaz Salvador, a beautiful short hair blonde who currently stood outside a cabin-like house. The lights from inside, as well as the banter and faint laughter, gave off the fact that there were people inside, and they were most certainly drinking. And if they were drinking, then he was drunk. And if he is drunk, then tonight will be another hell for her. She had barely recovered from the beating she received a few days ago. Her body still ached and she was forced to cover her bruising with make-up in order not to alert her work colleagues. Topaz let out a deep breath. The cold was starting to get to her. This morning, she had sprinted out of the house, escaping yet another beating, but she feared she might not be able to escape this time. Standing on the porch, she braced herself and pushed open the door, immediately being met
“It is my greatest wish to see children running around the mansion and making a mess everywhere before I pass on” the voice of fifty-six-year-old Marlow Anderson kept ringing in Adams’s ear as he drove. Today, fifteen of November was his mother’s birthday and they had all gathered to celebrate at the Anderson Mansion. Adams was the eldest of the Anderson children. He has a younger sister, in her early twenties who was his everything. Their father, Michelson Anderson passed on a few years back, leaving him in charge of the ‘AA’ group company. Of course, Adams was very much content with that. He was successful in managing his father’s legacy as he could pride himself on the fact since taking over, the company hasn’t had a profit margin below sixty-seven per cent in the last four years. Then, he had his girlfriend, Mia, with whom he was head over heels in love. After the dinner at the Anderson Mansion, Adams opened up to his girlfriend about his mother’s wishes and was shocked when she
The cops didn't give a damn that Adams was wealthy. He was treated like any other person. Doctor Ramya made sure to lock Adams in her office for fear that his presence in Topaz's room may shake her up. He didn't seem to have a problem with that, he just wanted to get everything over and done with. After what seemed like a while of pacing back and forth in Dr Ramya's office, the door flew open and she walked in, accompanied by two men in civil uniform."Am I free to go?" the tall eloquent inquired. The look doctor Ramya gave him showed that she'd made the wrong judgement. "Mr Anderson, I'll like to apologise for the inconveniences we've caused, but you need to understand that we're just doing our job," one of the officers said. Adams ignored the officer's excuses and turned his attention to the Doctor "You know, I have a good mind not to file a lawsuit against you, Doctor Ramya""Mr Anderson, I am sincerely sorry for the embarrassment. I will understand if you want to take any legal
