Fire, Blood Wolf.

Eliana POV

My heart was full with pride as I pranced around the healing bay’s room in my wolf form. It was huge and seemed to take up the entirety of the room but I loved every minute of it.

I felt a constant presence in my mind and knew it was my wolf, she couldn't speak which was normal but she could send her feelings to me and we were both feeling rather good to be around each other.

Although I still felt pain that it hadn't appeared when my family was brutally murdered, but I knew it was here now and we would get the revenge we deserved for what they did to us.

“I need to check your pulse. Could you change and dress up?” Grayson asked again for the eighth time with an exasperated air and I whined as I stepped into Fermion's arms and he caressed my fur with a smile on his face as I pushed my skin into his hands more.

What he was doing felt too damn good.

“But you really have to change back, little mate” he said and I whined but turns and went to the bathroom where my bones cracked painfully as my wolf fur resided and mortal skin emerged.

The transition was complete but I was stark naked but staring at the small mirror in the bathroom, I saw my skin was glowing with a light I couldn't make out so I quickly dressed up in the shirt and shorts there before going back inside the room and plopping on Fermion's laps.

He held me to him and nuzzled my cheek affectionately which brought tears to my eyes. It's been so long since someone showed me this kind of emotion and care.

“Why is your skin emitting such light?” Grayson picked my hand up and a growl ripped off my lips before I could hold it back and I slammed my hands onto my mouth as he took small steps backwards.

It was funny, a guy who could destroy any man and wolf with his hands was afraid of me? But my wolf color was unusual and not one I had had the privilege of looking up before I was thrown in that dark damp cell.

My heart ached at the thought but I forced myself to shrug it off.

“I'm sorry” I apologized and he smiled before coming to me and taking my pulse.

“What's wrong? Is she okay?” Fermion asked with a crease in his forehead and I nuzzled his neck, my body aching for him and also aching to feel his skin on mine.

“Actually…..” Grayson trailed off and Fermion growled.

“What's up with you lot? Don't scare me. She's good, her ribs have all healed, some I have to put back in place for it to heal but she's healed up completely” he informed and I smiled into Fermion's neck, so this was how it felt to have advanced healing.

I could fight with Myra now and heal afterwards without feeling too much pain. I was eager to try it out.

Now that I was stronger than ever, I would find those vermin and make them pay for her sins, my fists tightened against Fermion and he yelped softly before sighing.

“You feel so good. So warm” he grabbed my throat and stuck his face into my neck, a groan leaving him and something poked me from beneath me.

“Warm” Grayson was confused as he raised his hand to touch me and screamed like a woman as he stepped back, clutching at his hands.

“What's wrong?” I asked, turning to him but Fermion growled lowly at my concern for someone else which had me cuddling up into his chest.

“You're hot, so hot.” He said then realized what he said. “I meant, you're burning hot” he corrected and I furrowed my brows with confusion.

“That's what I felt? But she felt so good. Not hot. Good” Fermion sighed against me and I gave him a funny look.

“Fermion” a scream filled my ears as someone rushed into the room and aimed for Fermion immediately and my hand flashed out faster than I could blink and slammed her backwards, my body shielding Fermion.

My eyes burned hot and I scented the repugnant scent of fear filled my nose as my eyes found that of the woman and discovered it was Myra but I didn't relax.

“Your eyes…” she said softly, trailing off and I glanced back at Fermion whose face was filled with surprise but I didn't scent fear on him.

“Red” he gasped out, his hands caressing my face and I leaned into it, my eyes shutting closed as the heat faded away from it and I relaxed into him with a sigh.

“Send out the message, anyone who breathes a word of this will face instant death without trial” Fermion ordered and Grayson and Jared nodded before they turned and left us alone, Myra following behind them without a word.

But then, she stuck her head back in through the small opening on the door.

“Be early” she sent to me with a stern voice and I smiled. Good to know she still had that character.

Fermion pulled my head back from his chest and slammed his lips on mine without warning and I moaned into the kiss as sparks exploded from the contact.

My wolf growled at us as my eyes zeroed in on his neck but I forced myself to hold back, I was still unsure about everything and it was taking me a lot of time to process everything.

I didn't want to add more to the jumbled thoughts that were in my mind.

“You're mine” he growled as he trailed kisses down my neck and sniffed the place where I would be marked and I went still immediately.

The urge to push my head to the side to allow him to mark me was there but I was trying to hold myself back from doing so.

“Not yet, you'll tell me when” he growled as he bit down softly and I cried out as pleasure and pain burst from the bite.

“Good, that will keep my scent on you so everyone knows you're mine” he said into my skin and I smiled.
