The New Moon
The earring he wears was originally supposed to be a feather which is an inspiration from a necklace my brother got me. It is also a reference to dreamcatchers which has feathers which plays a role in dreams. I also own a handmade dreamcatcher I have gotten from an Indian Reservation many years prior. In this case, it helps with Kurai's state of mind. But I thought it might be a bit racist because I found out that Native Americans do not actually like Dream catchers to be used as other than what it is used for so I changed it into twin moon earrings.
