Keith’s POV

My heart almost stopped beating when my gaze landed on Kramen lying on the bed. His clothes were soaked with blood, his face bruised beyond recognition. There were so many deep cuts and gashes across his chest that it was difficult to count.

“Kramen…. Oh My god!” I exclaimed in a panicked voice as I rushed over. “What happened to him?” Crouching beside him, I roared, “Why haven’t the healers started treating him yet!?”

“Alpha… you had banished him from the pack. So, nobody dared….”

“Have you people gone crazy?” I growled, barely able to contain my anger. “Summon all the healers at once. If anything happens to my brother, I will kill every single one of you!”

“Kramen….” Tears welled in my eyes as I pressed a shaking finger against his neck. A sigh of relief left my lips as the vein throbbed under my fingers. The pulse was mild and weak but it was there.
