LOGINPresent day...
Tamara Sage Varkas sat up on her bed, trying to think about anything but the she-dragon's moans from the other room. She knew Kael Black was doing this to piss her off. She has her exam tomorrow, and that Bastard is banging someone in his room, which is unfortunately right beside hers. Sage is a princess of the Wolves, daughter of Kyra and Kaiser Varkas. She moved to the Black Manor 3 years ago. Unlike the wolves who prefer their simple pack life, Dragons are flashy and prefer to live among the humans in their high-rise buildings, which can help them to take flight into the air easily. Blacks live in Westmore like many other dragons among humans. Westmore is the capital. Kael is the Prince who built an unrivaled empire of his own. He is handsome, smart, cunning, and a pain in her sexy a*s. He is a bully who couldn't live a single day without tormenting Sage. Just like now. Sage tried to ignore the she-dragon's moans, but with her heightened senses, it's impossible, because HIs room is right next door. As the clock struck midnight, she had enough. She pushed the blankets off her and stormed out of her room to give the man who is hell-bent on ruining her sleep a piece of her mind. But the moment she pushed his door open, she froze, feeling stunned. Kael is thrusting inside the she-dragon with his pants clinging dangerously low around his hips. He is not completely undressed, while the she-dragon is as naked as the day she was born. His shirt is missing, showcasing how his back muscles are flexing with each movement. "I didn't know you had this fetish." Kael's husky taunt pulled Sage out of her head. Her cheeks flamed red with embarrassment. "So what if I do? It's not like you are being quiet either. You are putting on a show; why shouldn't I enjoy it?" she retorted. There is no way she is letting this arrogant man win. He turned his head slightly, the she-dragon momentarily ignored. His eyes looked intense and dilated, with a hint of something she didn't want to name. He didn't stop thrusting, though. "Is it? Then please make yourself comfortable. This might last longer," he taunted her. He knows fully well that she is still a virgin. Still, he pulls these stunts to irritate the hell out of her. "I would have loved to. But I have an exam tomorrow. Too bad, the subject is not about your nightlife. It's something dumb dragons like you won't understand. So keep this down, or you will regret it," she threatened him with a sugary-sweet voice. His eyes darkened instantly. The familiar flash of something she assumed was anger flashed in his eyes. She had seen it way too many times before. He pulled out of the she-dragon and adjusted his member before fully turning to face her. "Your Highness," the she-dragon complained, which he ignored. "With that mouth, no wonder you are still a virgin," he taunted back. Sage is angry. He doesn't have the right to judge her choices. "I thought we could civilly solve this. But I should have known that it's impossible with you involved. Well, you asked for this," she snapped before storming towards him. She pushed him away from the she-dragon, careful not to look at her and taint her memories forever. She picked up the glass water pitcher from beside the bed and dumped the contents onto the shameless woman who was still lying there naked. "Ahh..." she shrieked and jumped out of the bed as if burned. Kael stood there, with his pants undone. If looks could kill, she would be 6 feet under. "Sage Varkas, you are asking for a punishment," he snapped, not at all bothered about his half-dressed state. Why would he? At 6'7, he looks like a Greek god who is carved from the hardest of the rocks available, with an aura to match. There are so many women, both humans and shifters, who would die to bend backwards to please him. "You started this knowing fully well that I could hear this nonsense. I am just reacting," she muttered in annoyance. She turned to leave his room. But he grabbed her by the forearm and pulled her back. Her body hit his with a thud. "Don't touch me with those dirty hands. Let me go," she snapped, trying to ignore his exposed washboard abs. If he were anyone else, she wouldn't have minded losing her virginity to him. With these looks and body, he is any woman's wet dream. But too bad, he is Kael. That alone is a turn-off. "Princess, you c*ck blocked me, ruined my mattress. You have to take responsibility for your actions," he pointed out. She narrowed her eyes. The way he spoke the word 'responsibility' rang alarm bells in her head. "What the hell do you mean by that? I don't have the habit of sleeping with man whores. Go find Laila." She scrunched up her nose with disgust. He huffed sarcastically. "Relax, Princess, you are not my type. You ruined my bed, so we might have to share yours. Let's go. You have an exam tomorrow," he declared. Her eyes widened with horror. They have so many spare rooms in the manor, but he had to come up with something so absurd. "Like hell we will; no way will I share a bed with you. You didn't even wash yourself," she complained. "In that case, let's wash together," he smirked. Her eyes widened instantly. "Don't you dare..." he ignored her protests. Simply, he lifted her over his shoulders while she was kicking, punching, and threatening to decapitate him. He carried her inside his bathroom before turning the shower on. "I will kill you," she threatened him. He smirked, as if she was being funny. She pushed him away and ran out of his room, half drenched. Quickly, she locked her room and changed into dry clothes before drying her hair, all the while cursing him. By the time she came out of the washroom, she found him lying on her bed wearing just sweatpants. "How did you get in?" she demanded. She remembered that she locked her door. "I have my ways, Princess. Now come, let's sleep," he invited her. "I will kill you in your sleep if you dare to sleep in my room," she threatened him. But he ignored her. Before she could blink, she found herself lying on her bed beside the arrogant dragon. She didn't even notice when he moved. "Princess, it's either we sleep together, or neither of us sleeps. I know the exam tomorrow is very important. Your exam results might be messed up if you don't rest properly. Think about it," he pointed out. The way he said it is as if he is indirectly threatening to mess up her results. He is capable. He sprawled beside her as if he owned the bed. She huffed and tried to leave. But he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer. "Sleep," he commanded. "You, let go." She struggled to free herself, but he was holding her in a vice-like grip, refusing to let go. She struggled untill she felt his member. "Don't wiggle so much, unless you want to replace that she dragon" he muttered huskily. She froze. Unable to do anything, she had to relent. Because he is stronger. She was already plotting her revenge by the time her eyes drifted shut. The next morning, Sage woke up to the strong smell of disinfectants and an ache in her head. Ot didn't take her long before everything came flooding back to her mind. She didn't immediately open her eyes even though she woke up. Everything happened so quickly last night that she didn't get enough time to understand what was happening. When she was born, she was a complete witch. Practical, young, and spoiled. She had no conflict between her human self and her witch self. Because they were one. But after Alexander locked up her witch, she had to live, think, and feel like a human. After so many years, she got used to being a human. Soft, spoiled, and cheeky. But after her witch woke up, Sage is having a hard time keeping her emotions at a practical level. She couldn't decide everything on a profit-or-loss basis. When she was young, she never had a problem staying unaffected by others' pain. Because she never knew how to feel. But now that she knows how emotions feel, she doesn't know h
"Is it? I cannot thank you enough, Sage." Alexander looked emotional. His teary eyes said everything he was not. He is happy that his wife doesn't have to endure so much pain anymore. He is happy that his wife will be safe now. "Yes," she replied before she pulled a loaded syringe out of her jeans pocket and injected the medicine into Vanessa. The vial was loaded with a crude version of Dead Roots essence, which she didn't have time to refine. Her hands shook while she was injecting Vanessa. Her witch is refusing to let Sage help the dragon queen. 'We should only cure her. If she is in pain from eating something she shouldn't, then it's her fault. Why help her? She should suffer. You are becoming weak' her witch is wreaking havoc inside Sage's head. But Sage remained completely composed. "I think she should feel less pain now. I will leave you both alone now." With that said, Sage left the hospital room. Her witch was so mad that Sage was unable to keep it under control. Her
That night, as Sage had warned Alexander, Vanessa was in too much pain. The medicine Vanessa had been taking was clashing with the moong bean she ate, no matter how little. Her skin felt like it was burning all over, as if she were being burned down in fire again, like all those years ago when she lost the ability to stay in her beast form mid-flight and accidentally fell into the fire caused by little Sage. That was an accident. But Vanessa's condition was bad before the Blacks even knew about Sage's existence. "Alexander, I am burning again. The fire, it's eating me alive. Please, I can't take this pain. Please kill me," Vanessa cried in agony. Alexander looked helpless and sad. "Nessa, don't say that. Just this one night. Hold it in. You endured pain for years now. I am here. We can do this," he tried to make her feel better. But Vanessa is in so much agony that she couldn't take it. "I can't. Please, kill me," she begged him. Alexander now has tears in his eyes. "Nessa, do
Both Kael and Sage were seen rushing into a hospital room. Kael received a call from Alexander saying that Vanessa had spat blood and was now unconscious. Her sister Ashley admitted her to the hospital. When Sage heard that, she was confused. She knew Vanessa was almost completely healed. So she shouldn't spit blood anymore. So Sage couldn't understand what went wrong. By the time they entered the hospital room, Ashley, Cindy, and Alexander were standing there. Alexander looked pale and worried. Ashley looked a little shaken, while Cindy looked scared. Sage ignored them all and rushed to check Vanessa first. "Strange," Sage muttered when she couldn't feel any abnormalities in Vanessa's pulse or blood pressure readings. But Vanessa's lips turned a shade of light blue. Sage leaned down and sniffed Vanessa's breath to check what went wrong. While Sage was checking, Cindy couldn't take it any longer. She roughly pulled Sage back and away from Vanessa. "It's her; this stupid bitch
In Westmore, Vanessa is receiving an unexpected guest that evening. Ashley Sinclair, Vanessa Black's elder sister, arrived with her daughter, Cindy. "Sister, how are you?" Vanessa hugged Ashley warmly. "I am fine. I am worried about you. I received a call from your husband a couple of days ago. I heard you moved out of the Black Manor. It took me two days to finally figure out where you could be. Vanessa, finally, you made a very good decision. That Alexander is no good. It's good that you saw him for who he is," Ashley let her dislike for Alexander known. Vanessa looked a little uncomfortable. She knows that her elder sister never really liked Alexander. Vanessa couldn't understand what transpired between them, but neither of them liked each other. Alexander only tolerated Ashley for Vanessa. "Sister, let's not talk about that now. Let's talk about something else." Vanessa tried to steer the conversation away from Alexander. She cannot openly admit that she didn't fall out
The next morning, Kael took Sage down the mountain. They were walking side by side while Sage was eating a fruit that they had plucked in that forest. "This is sweet," she murmured before taking another bite. "Is it? Let me try," he asked. She extended the fruit in his direction, thinking that he might bite the fruit. But to her surprise, he ignored the fruit and licked her lips instead. "Hmm, sweet indeed," he hummed in agreement before he started walking again. Sage stood there a second longer with the fruit still hovering in the air. Her cheeks were red, and her heart was pounding wildly in her chest. "You lost your damn mind," she muttered to herself. He walked ahead, and she didn't notice the smile playing on his lips. "I lost my mind over you a long time ago. Nothing new," he flirted with her. She rolled her eyes at him. "We are going back to Westmore this evening. Driscoll is not my dad's son," Kael shared casually. Sage looked surprised. "Really? But he
