MasukShe wanted love. Then she met the man who wore a helmet and changed everything. Levrae Vause was a sweet and rich girl who only wanted someone to love her not her money. She moved far from home to start a new life. There, she met Jax. He was kind, funny, and charming. For five long years, Levrae gave him all her heart. But Jax was hiding something big. He never stopped loving his ex-girlfriend, Eleanor. He only dated Levrae because of her father’s money. When Levrae found out the truth on a Christmas cruise, her heart broke into tiny pieces. She ran to the bar, cried, and drank... and that’s when she met Kieran Snow a quiet man who wore a helmet and never showed his face. One wild night brought them together. Levrae asked Kieran to help her get revenge on Jax. The plan? Pretend to be a couple. Hold hands. Take cute pictures. Make Jax jealous. But fake feelings started to feel real. Kieran was gentle, kind, and always there when Levrae cried. She started falling for him without meaning to. He fell for her too but she was scared. Scared to love again. Scared he’d leave too. Then the real storm hit. Jax and Eleanor tried to ruin everything. Jax lied and told the police Kieran stole money. Eleanor tried to hurt Levrae, but Kieran drank the poison instead. Levrae was blamed and thrown in jail, crying and scared. But love never gives up. Kieran lived. The truth came out. Jax and Eleanor were both arrested. And Levrae? She was free and ready to stop running from love. At the end, Kieran didn’t give her a ring. He gave her a helmet with her name on it. And she said yes.

It was the first snow. I gasped in delight as I looked up to the sky and a giggle escaped my lips when a fragment of snow dropped on my nose. It was just the second week of November and it was snowing already.
I heard that experiencing the first snow with the one you loved would make your relationship last longer. I turned around and spotted him getting out of a car as he bowed slightly to someone in the car.
He told me of how generous his boss was to the extent that he always dropped him off because he was his assistant. Bosses like that sure are difficult to find.
The car zoomed past me and for a split second, I caught sight of what looked like a female in the back seat. I thought his boss was a man. Were men supposed to have long red hair?
“Baby.”
His deep voice brought me out of my thoughts and I turned to see him walk up to me with a smile and all my worries vanished in an instant.
“Jaxie, you're home.” I breathed and he nodded as he leaned in and brushed the snow off my hair. I could have sworn that my face looked like a cooked red lobster right now.
That's an effect that he's always had on me.
“How lucky are we that we get to see the first snow together? I think we're more than soulmates.” He muttered as his eyes locked onto mine and my heart pounded wildly in my chest.
Damn it, how lucky am I to have such a man standing by my side?
“Legend says that if two lovers witness the first snow together, they'll last forever. Isn't that cute?” I replied and he chuckled softly as he took my hand in his and we walked inside.
“That's definitely a myth. But I don't mind believing it for you. Anything for my baby.” He squeezed my hand gently as he pushed open the door and we walked inside the apartment that we rented together.
“Let's dance to Snowman together,” I suggested as I took out my phone and played Snowman by Sia with a wide smile on my face.
“Not now baby, I'm a bit too tired. How about we have dinner first? That sounds like a better idea.” He said with a yawn and my shoulders dropped in disappointment but I quickly covered it up with a smile.
“Okay then, I'll warm it up and bring it to the table soon,” I mumbled with a sad tone, hoping that he would notice but he just smiled at me and placed a peck on my head before sauntering to the bedroom.
I let out a sad sigh as I started to set the dining table while humming to the music playing on my phone. I've always wanted to dance to this song with him, especially during this holiday season but he's never been interested.
The song was interrupted by a notification and I wiped my hands on a towel as I picked up the phone. A smile formed on my face and my sour mood was immediately replaced by excitement.
I had successfully booked us a beautiful spot on the largest cruise ship in Toronto for a month! Jax had always wanted to spend his holidays on a cruise ship like this one and I made sure that his wish came to pass this year.
Yes, I'm crazy, I used my whole year's savings just for this. But who cares? Love is crazy, isn't it?
I finished setting the table with a slight bounce on my feet, and I was barely able to contain my excitement. This wasn't the only surprise I had for him, I couldn't wait to share it all with him already!
He finally walked out of the room putting on his loose shirt and boxers and a towel in his hand that he used to dry his beautiful silky hair. I just couldn't get enough of this man.
He did have his flaws, but they were very little. Like how he wouldn't dance to Snowman with me even though we've been dating for five years, or how he would never let me put on his clothes, which of course made me sad.
But he was the sweetest. Call me whatever you want, but he ignored other girls just to be with me, you could call me the luckiest girl alive.
“A penny for your thoughts, baby?” His voice interrupted my thoughts as he sat in front of me and I shook my head immediately as I smiled and picked up my spoon.
“I was just admiring my handsome boyfriend,” I replied and he chuckled as he leaned his chin on his hand and gazed at me for a while.
“What?” I asked, suddenly becoming self-conscious about how he stared at me.
“I was just admiring my beautiful girlfriend.” He answered and I flushed instantly. I quickly gulped down a glass of water as I looked everywhere but his face.
“You're even more beautiful when you blush.” He added and my brain left my body.
Just kill me already, Jax.
“Let's just eat.” I squeaked as I started eating and he let out a low laugh as he dug into his meal. That laughter made something in my belly flip.
“Jaxie, I have a surprise for you. Two, actually.” I started and his smile faltered as he raised his head to look at me.
“Are you pregnant?” He asked in horror and my face fell at how horrified he looked right now. If I was pregnant, wouldn't that be a good thing?
“No- no, I'm not. But why do you make it sound like a bad thing?” I questioned, feeling slightly offended by how he responded.
“No, baby, it's not like that. I just… I still have a long way to go and I'm not ready to be a father yet. Since you're not pregnant, you can go ahead and tell me what it is.”
I guess his words were understandable. I proceeded to tell him about the surprise when his phone rang. His countenance changed as he picked up the call immediately, replied with an “I'll be there”, and then hung up.
“Baby, I got to go.” He rushed out of the chair and grabbed his jacket by the couch, not even bothering to change into something appropriate.
“But-” He didn't give me a chance to speak. He simply pecked me on my forehead and rushed out of the house, leaving me alone with my surprise hanging in the air.
Yeah, another flaw that my boyfriend had. He could leave me alone anytime, anywhere just for his boss. I mean, he was such a hardworking young man, right?
I walked to the window and saw him run down the road, probably heading to the bus stop. I let out a sigh as I sat on the couch and ran my hand through my hair.
“But what about me?”
Levrae’s pov “Or else what?” A voice cut through the crowd, calm, cold, and commanding. Jax stepped into the hall with a well-tailored suit that fit his complexion. His hair was well-styled, his lip curved into a smile that didn't reach his eyes. He stood right in front of Keiran. Hands in his pockets. “What would you do?” He asked. Everyone turned their gaze towards him, and the hall went calm. I felt like running out to get some fresh air. But how could I leave when all this happened because of me? I put Keiran in this mess; if I didn't lure him into getting Jax back, he wouldn't be here. I needed to do something, so I quickly snapped myself together, then I stood quietly observing Jax's little act. As much as I wanted to concentrate on Jax, my gut kept telling me that he wasn't the one who sent those pictures to the media. He was only acting up to win me back. Yeah, I need him to come back willingly, not by acting. “Cut the crap!” I yelled at Jax. “I thought you loved Elean
Levrae pov Harry looked at me with calm eyes, as if my tears tore part of him. He moved closer and gave me a gentle but tight hug. “I believe you, Levrae.” He pulled away and wiped tears from my eyes. “We are in together, I will not leave you aside.” I nodded silently and harshly wiped off the remaining tears from my eyes. Hope and a mixture of fears grow in my heart. “Wait here," he said and walked away. I stood frozen, my heart racing so fast that I felt every single heartbeat in my ears. Not long after Harry arrived with a sack, there was a dress inside. Though it was for the security officer, “Put this on,” he instructed. “Why…?” I asked without thinking twice. “Stop the question and do what you are asked to do.” His voice came out loud. I swallowed back my words, and I stared at him. He was my only hope out of that mess. Without arguing I put on the dress. “We need to leave now,” he said, and pulled me towards the hotel exit. As we approach the door, two cops wal
Levrae pov “Ja…Jax,” I stammered. My head spun front and back. I don't know what to answer him. I glance at Kieran, but he keeps his eyes fixed on Harry. I needed him to save me from this mess, but it seems he really wanted me to answer that question. Harry stepped forward and smiled. “So…you are in love with two men?” “No…no…Jax is my…” “It's time for you to leave.” Kieran cut me off because I was anxious about words. I blink my eyes unexpectedly. I thought Kieran's silence was about finding out who I truly love. I exhale slowly, thanks to Keiran for helping me out finally. Hoping that Harry would leave, but he didn't. He stood still, watching me as if I was the problem. “You have no right to push me away.” Harry snapped; his eye darted back to Kieran. The tension between the two men was suffocating. I suddenly felt like I would be out of breath in a second “Why…?” Keiram stepped forward. “Are you in any position to debate about my instructions?” “Yes…” Harry snapped, “
Levrae’s POV Harry stands behind the door, dressed in a well-tailored suit that makes him appear like one of the celebrities in a magazine. He stepped beside me and pulled me closer to himself. I blink my eyes in surprise. “You have no right to stop her from going where she wants .” He said his voice was cold. “So…you found yourself another man.” Ruby pulls out a smile that doesn't reach her eyes. “You really get the nerve to deceive men.” “Shut the fuck up…” Harry snapped. "You have no right to speak to her in such a manner.” Harry was my best friend right from college; he was the only one who knew my true identity. Years back, after college, he wanted me to be his girlfriend. But then I wasn't interested, so I turned him down. Since that year, we have been separated after college. I haven't met him till now. I was really surprised to see him in my room. “How do you find me?” I whispered behind his back. “I have my way around.” He whispered Ruby chuckled. “Are you su
