LOGINLevrae~
Eleanor.
Jax's best friend and ex-girlfriend. The red-haired bimbo. Did he seriously call her here? I turned to look at Jax and it seemed like he was surprised to see her here as well.
“Eleanor? What are you doing here?” He asked in surprise but he didn't look angry at all. Rather, I could say he looked relieved.
“She was with us when you called and I thought, why can't she come with us? You said it could contain five people. Look, we're complete. Except for some unwanted pest that isn't needed.” His mom replied and I clenched my fists in anger.
“Mom, don't talk about her like that. Come on, let's get your things inside.” He said and I had to roll my eyes when Eleanor smiled cutely at him.
They started to file inside and before Jax could follow them, I held him back, a worried look on my face.
“Jaxie, This was supposed to be for the both of us only. You know I'm never comfortable with Eleanor or your mom. You know your sister hates me too. How am I supposed to survive?” I asked in concern and he let out an exasperated sigh.
“Come on, baby. I didn't even call for Eleanor here. And they won't be here for long anyway. Two days, maximum. Trust me, you'll be fine. I'm here, okay?” He reassured me but I still had this sinking feeling in my chest as I watched him walk inside the cabin.
*****
Two days had passed as he said but to my utmost disbelief, the unwanted guests weren't leaving anytime soon. And they didn't hesitate to treat me like their slave. Jax never said anything to stop them, but he knew how to make me feel better at night.
Eleanor was always all over Jax and it irked me to the depths of my soul. The look she always gave me showed me that she was doing this on purpose to rile me up.
Little did she know that I was even more patient than a driver waiting for a snail to cross the road.
I let out a sigh as I walked around the beautiful streets of Queens Quay. The moon shone brightly and made the streets look even more beautiful than usual. The Christmas lights decorated the streets and “Last Christmas” was blasting through someone's speaker, while I hummed along.
My stomach suddenly made a strange noise and I stopped in my tracks. I hadn't even gone far. I only stepped out of the ship five minutes ago and now I'm returning to those annoying humans already?
I turned around and hurried to the ship before I made a spectacle of myself in front of these strangers. I was just about to take a step up our stairs when I heard Eleanor's birdlike giggle.
“She won't be back for the next thirty minutes, we have this time to ourselves, darling.”
Wait, that was Jax’s voice. Darling? Who was he calling ‘darling’?
“Can't you just send her away already? I feel bad for you, my poor baby. You've had to put up with her crazy ass for five years. You don't need her anymore. You have me now.” I heard Eleanor say and my heart stopped. The stomach ache disappeared in an instant.
“You know I can't. She loves me and provides for me. I can't just let her go.”
“What about me? I could give you everything you want. Just let her go already.” She whined and I felt a volcano erupt in my head.
“Darling, look around you. We're only here because of her. Try to consider that she's doing a lot for us too. I don't love her, I only love you. But understand that if she's gone, we won't have any more source of income, especially not with the debts we owe.” Jax replied and I harshly wiped the tears that fell off my eyes.
I would never cry for him.
“So, I was just a source of income for you?” I said calmly as I revealed myself and they both disentangled from their loving embrace to look at me in shock.
“Baby-”
“Don't you fucking dare. I'll rip your throat out if you call me that.”
I was calm. Too calm that I scared myself. I wasn't yelling or screaming in anger. Like I was actually expecting this to happen even though I wasn't. Emily was right. She was always right.
“Don't you think you're too harsh right now, Levrae? We're just two adults in love. Why is that a problem?” Eleanor mocked with her stupid voice and I just ignored her like she wasn't there.
“Baby, listen I can explain-”
“You bastard!” I slapped him hard across the face and his eyes bulged in shock as he turned to look at me but I didn't let him speak.
“How dare you hit my son? You stupid witch.” His obnoxious mom yelled as she ran out and pulled Jax to her, anger flashing in her eyes.
Of course, they planned this together. I was too careless to realize.
“You all can take the damn cruise ship. I don't care. But don't forget that that apartment was rented with my money, so I don't want to see you there ever again. I'll have your legs crushed if you ever show up. We're done!”
It was funny how love quickly switched to hatred as I stared at their stupid faces.
I spun around and rushed out of their sight, not even bothering to take my things. I rushed past the bar but suddenly stopped as I turned to stare at the buzzing crowded space.
A little drink won't hurt, right?
Yeah, that was what I thought. Alas, fate has an absolutely different plan for me.
All I remembered was that I stumbled into the damn loud bar, drank tequila shot after shot, got on the dance floor, and danced like a wild animal, then my brain went blank.
What I wasn't expecting was that I would wake up in the morning, in an entirely unknown room, in the arms of a man I h
ad never seen before. We were both naked, so yeah. We fucked.
I'm fucked.
Levrae pov Harry looked at me with calm eyes, as if my tears tore part of him. He moved closer and gave me a gentle but tight hug. “I believe you, Levrae.” He pulled away and wiped tears from my eyes. “We are in together, I will not leave you aside.” I nodded silently and harshly wiped off the remaining tears from my eyes. Hope and a mixture of fears grow in my heart. “Wait here," he said and walked away. I stood frozen, my heart racing so fast that I felt every single heartbeat in my ears. Not long after Harry arrived with a sack, there was a dress inside. Though it was for the security officer, “Put this on,” he instructed. “Why…?” I asked without thinking twice. “Stop the question and do what you are asked to do.” His voice came out loud. I swallowed back my words, and I stared at him. He was my only hope out of that mess. Without arguing I put on the dress. “We need to leave now,” he said, and pulled me towards the hotel exit. As we approach the door, two cops walk towa
Levrae pov “Ja…Jax,” I stammered. My head spun front and back. I don't know what to answer him. I glance at Kieran, but he keeps his eyes fixed on Harry. I needed him to save me from this mess, but it seems he really wanted me to answer that question. Harry stepped forward and smiled. “So…you are in love with two men?” “No…no…Jax is my…” “It's time for you to leave.” Kieran cut me off because I was anxious about words. I blink my eyes unexpectedly. I thought Kieran's silence was about finding out who I truly love. I exhale slowly, thanks to Keiran for helping me out finally. Hoping that Harry would leave, but he didn't. He stood still, watching me as if I was the problem. “You have no right to push me away.” Harry snapped; his eye darted back to Kieran. The tension between the two men was suffocating. I suddenly felt like I would be out of breath in a second “Why…?” Keiram stepped forward. “Are you in any position to debate about my instructions?” “Yes…” Harry snapped, “
Levrae’s POV Harry stands behind the door, dressed in a well-tailored suit that makes him appear like one of the celebrities in a magazine. He stepped beside me and pulled me closer to himself. I blink my eyes in surprise. “You have no right to stop her from going where she wants .” He said his voice was cold. “So…you found yourself another man.” Ruby pulls out a smile that doesn't reach her eyes. “You really get the nerve to deceive men.” “Shut the fuck up…” Harry snapped. "You have no right to speak to her in such a manner.” Harry was my best friend right from college; he was the only one who knew my true identity. Years back, after college, he wanted me to be his girlfriend. But then I wasn't interested, so I turned him down. Since that year, we have been separated after college. I haven't met him till now. I was really surprised to see him in my room. “How do you find me?” I whispered behind his back. “I have my way around.” He whispered Ruby chuckled. “Are you su
Levrea's POV “Yes…I still want him on his knees.” I answered. Kieran looked at me closely, “You still want him to beg you, or you want him?” He asked.I really want Jax, but I can't tell him that because that will push him away. I still need him for my little act “Mmm…” “Okay then, let's go inside and sleep, we have an event to attend.” he grabbed my hands and helped me up.Back inside the room, I lost the feeling of sleeping close to him. I want to be with Jax, not him. I start strolling through my phone. It has been a very long time since I checked my social media. So, I took my time and answered all the messages in my inbox. Beside me was Kieran sleeping peacefully like a baby, his hand wrapped around my waist as if we were a real couple. As I was about to go offline, a message popped up on the screen. I clicked it open and saw a message from an anonymous person. “Stay away from Kieran if you want to survive.”Short, simple but carrying the weight of things that sank into my
Levrae's POV As I rushed outside looking for Kieran, I was still in my pajamas. My eyes narrowed around, but I couldn't find him. The breeze blows my hair and covers my face. I flipped them back then ran towards Eleanor’s room, the same place I meant him before, but to my surprise, the door was locked. The hallway was quite like a graveyard. No noise…just the tiptock from the clock hanging on the wards. I stood, looking back and front, wondering where Kieran could be at this time of night. My heart was heavy with guilt. I should've told him that I still care about Jax. I wanted to return inside, but it felt weird, sleeping on an empty bed without him by my side. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I took a glance at it, hoping it was Kieran, but my hope was scattered the moment I saw Eleanor on the screen. ‘Why is she calling me?’ I mumble under my breath before taking the call. “Hey…you...how dare you set me up?” She yelled over the phone. Her sharp voice pierced eardrums. “Wha
Kieran POV She said she doesn't care about him; now, all she wants is Jax. That alone hurt me badly, but I can't allow Jax to take her away from me.I have fallen for her, not because of the sex but her smile. Her face reminds me of someone whom I tend not to forget. I stood up from the bed and put on my clothes. Grabbed my phone and dialed Lawerance’s number. It rings twice, but no answer. I became pissed. Levrae left the room because she didn't want to see me. And Lawrence now refuses to pick up my call.I clutch my phone tightly, my heart pounding hard in my chest. I have never been rejected in my life. A lot of women storm into my company just to see me; some even go so far as to pay my secretary. While I watched them from afar, some even argued when I told them that I'm the CEO. No one has ever believed a biker to be a CEO. They saw me as a mechanic and a delivery boy for the company. No one seems beyond that, they believe Lawrence, my assistant, was the CEO.I couldn't imagin
“You…!” A knock on the door startled us. We turned towards the door. “Who the hell again?”“It’s me..” “Come back later,” I said, cutting the voice off. The voice went quiet at the knock stop.Kieran smiled and pulled me towards the bed. I lay down before he could make an effort. I want more of him
Kieran turned towards me. “Do you know each other?” he asked, confused.“I…I don't know him,” I stammered.“You don't know me, or you are just pretending.” Jaxe chuckled, “You forget so soon…”Jax's eyes scan around the room. “So you left me for this…?” he pointed at Kieran as if he were some waste
Kieran pov“You're warm.” She muttered as she raised her head to look at me, and the moment our eyes met, my heart did a weird thing in my chest. What was this weird feeling? I immediately push them out of my mind. Her fingers trace down my thigh. It seems like she really enjoyed me last night. Bu
Levrae pov Back to my room.“Make them pay for humiliating you.” Kieran leaned in closer and placed his hands softly on my shoulder, his brown eyes glinting with something dangerous. “That’s the game, Levrae. You can't give up now.”I clutch my fist, “I’m done playing games,” I said, my voice stea
