Her head still not in place, Starr resumed work. She put her brave face on and walked into the damn company like she owned it, and if Christopher Chariton came, she was ready to handle him like she was the owner of the damn company. 

She had a knee length wine bodycon gown, alongside a black heels. She had no jewellery on, apart from a simple gold bracelet. She kept her makeup simple, lip gloss, eyeliner and mascara. 

The meeting was scheduled for nine o'clock in the morning, so she arrived some minutes before nine. She had a full on pep talk with herself in the mirror, before she came to work. She had to ready herself for whatever was coming.
