2025-05-02 00:54:49Life at straightline was good, but among tha,t I did not know what was coming for me, “Jaanvi Parmar?” Anushka asked as she looked at the chubby girl who entered in jeans and a top, she had a small smile on her face as she greeted her.
“Yep,” She replied, her eyes wandering all around her.
“Bhaiya, paani lana please,” (please bring water) Anushka was now quite used to giving orders to the poen, she was slipping into her role effortlessly, sometimes even guiding others.
The peon came with a glass of water and she offered it to Janvi, “Please hand over your resume, I will do the needful,” she said as Janvi handed her resume.
Walking to Dinesh’s cabin. Anushka knocked on the door like she always did. he was doing something on his phone, which he kept down as soon as she entered. “Candidate for IELTS teacher, Janvi Parmar,” She mentioned, handing him the resume for the third time that day.
“Get her to do the test, Preeti knows where it is located in the file when done, send after a few minutes,” He ordered.
“Sure,” She said with a nod before walking out. She asked Preeti’s help to locate the IELTS test before moving forward to help Janvi in one of the cabins where she could answer the questions preacefully, focusing with intention.
After 20 minutes, Janvi was done while Anushka looked at the series of question papers on the computer screen, she knew most of the answers but she could not apply without the test marks for ielts and that costs 16k just the test only, she could not afford it, let alone the coaching.
“Done,” Janvi said as she walked out of the first cabin with a smile on her face, “Please wait for a few minutes,” Preeti said as janvi took out her phone and walked outside of the office.
Preeti checked her answers and she passed with flying colors. This girl was actually good, was not she?
“well, I am gonna be out in the sun, you take care of this okay?” Preeti said and handed the papers to Anushka, who justed nodded at her.
She gave dinesh the test paper and mentioned she was going to send the candidate in.
“excuse me, you may go to the second cabin please,” Anushka mentioned as janvi came inside after speaking to someone on her phone, she handed her phone to Anushka before she walked inside the cabin. Without knocking I may say.
There were things this girl needed to learn about manners.

Not too soon after, Janvi walked outside with a smile, Dinesh came out as well, they shook hands before she walked out taking her things and passing Anushka a smile.
Dinesh came to her as well, “please keep this,” He said handing her the resume of Janvi, she knew where to keep it, she had learned a few things now.
Something with the way he smiled, did not set well with her, there was a starnge jealousy, something she oculd not name, something she did not want to name.
Buried herself in work and a romantic book was her exit from the world however now, someone was occupying her mind nowadays.

Later that day Ansuhka was instructed to give Abhinn and Dinesh the resume file, at last she was given two resumes, one of them was janvi’s to call her and issue an appointment letter to her as the new ielts teacher at STRAIGHLINE
