JORDAN'S POV*******

The past few days, my name had been “Alex carried her,” and Angela was so not happy about it.

I watched the video go viral on the school blog. When he rushed to my side in the video, I could feel the smile touching my ears.

“Don’t blush to death,” Sara laughed as we offloaded our books on the table.

The librarian shushed us from her desk.

“I’m not blushing.” I glared, the heat in my cheeks contrasting greatly with my words.

I hated this feeling. It's stupid.

  • Dangerous Obsession   CAMPS AND SECRETS VII-DAY TWO

On the second day of camp is surely not a time to get a life threatening message and a video of you and your worst enemy with his head in between your legs while you shook and shivered in tangled sheets moaning his name sexily according to him. The sun peeked through the curtains quietly like a calm wind that breaks through tension. I opened my eyes letting it adapt to the surroundings and the muscular body staring at me. Last night flooded in like rain in my thoughts. Jordan would have ran away but right now, I didn't feel like running away. I wanted to stay, his arms suddenly felt protective and…. Safe. Both of us kept quiet, no one wanting to break the silence that followed last night’s aftermath. Alexander's hand moved to my hair, stroking it gently, so slowly it felt illegally pleasurable “And this is the second time this should be happening ” he whispered. I swallowed before replying. “No, the first – and the last” “, Hopefully ” I whispered to my hearing only. “It’s th

A dark figure slipped silently between the trees before stopping near one of the cabins. My heartbeat slowed for just a second as I tried to make out who it was.The moonlight shifted through the leaves, giving me a clearer view of the cabin.Alex’s cabin. The figure glanced around cautiously before moving closer to his door.Every instinct in my body screamed that something wasn’t right.Without thinking, I stepped off the path and quietly followed.I hid behind a tree while the figure rounded the cabin, stepping a foot on a black path. He looked around and walked away, disappearing slowly into the night as his cape flew with the wind.Making sure the path was clear and no one was around, I walked to the exact spot he had pressed his foot down, putting my leg on the same spot—but nothing happened.“Strange,” I muttered. The door suddenly clicked. My heart jumped in fear. The knob slowly turned and it opened.Alex stood shirtless, staring down at me with a not-so-good face.“What are

Angela and her crew were waltzing down into the arena with extremely short knickers. “Tsk.” Sara clicked her teeth. “They’d do anything to get the attention of everyone around.” I shrugged. “Might as well leave them the fuck alone. I want to enjoy this island to its fullest.” I added except I got paired with the fucking witch in a cabin. Sara took my hand as we walked down to the wooden stools gathered round the fire. “Isn’t it too early to start a fire?” A voice recoiled as sand whipped around my legs. The one time clumsy Brooklyn. “Hey Brooks.” I drawled slowly and sarcastically. “Oops!! Sorry girl. I didn’t see you there.” she pouted, dusting the sand off my body. We were all seated waiting for Miss Maya to come start whatever we were going to do. This camp was actually beneficial, we talked to people we didn’t talk to in school. Everyone got to know each other and– Wait, what? “What’d you say?” I asked Brooklyn this time not mentally. “Tell me about you and Alex.” she

The restaurant buzzed with conversation as hundreds of hungry students poured inside. The smell of grilled chicken, fried rice, and spicy stew replaced the salty scent of the ocean."Move!" Damien complained dramatically. "If I don't eat in the next thirty seconds, I'm suing this camp."Sara laughed. "On what grounds?""Emotional starvation."“Or mentally unstable,” Alex added behind us.We pushed open the large glass doors and stepped into the spacious restaurant. Cool air from the air conditioners washed over us, carrying a faint lemon fragrance.“Exactly what I need, oh my God,” someone whispered. The restaurant embraced the island theme perfectly. Wooden tables and chairs filled the room beneath antique chandeliers, while soft classical music drifted through the air.Simple and calming. “I could sit here all day,” I muttered.Sara chuckled.“Team 2 will be served first but the rest of you would have to wait,” Miss Maya said and walked to the back of the kitchen.Within minutes, w

The final whistle echoed across the field. Exhausted cheers erupted from every direction as students collapsed onto the grass, some dramatically claiming they had "seen heaven.""I officially can't feel my legs," Damien groaned, lying flat on his back."Good," Alex replied. "Maybe you'll stop talking for five minutes."Laughter rippled through our team while Damien shot him an offended, playful glare."I knew I should've let you drown in the mud pit," Darren said to Cairo."You tried," Cairo shrugged."I'll do better next time.""Looks like everyone survived half of Day One," Miss Maya laughed as her voice boomed through the mic.A chorus of sarcastic applause answered her.Footsteps echoed around me as Sara ran forward. “I found a blue. You?” she asked with a smile all over her face.I searched all over the place but didn't find any. “Nope, nothing,” I shrugged, pocketing the box.“What you got there?”“Nothing, just a slight stain on my jersey,” I muttered.“C’mon,” she nodded and

Day 1 of camp–Never threaten your roommate with murder and never, ever leave a spot for someone else. Now, staring at the name taped to the cabin, I wasn't so sure anymore. I could turn back now, but I didn't want to.How it started?“Sir, I am not having this. I will not be sharing a room with... with... this... oh my God. This thing!!” Angela yelled, pointing at me.I scoffed. “Sir, she's too emotionally unstable and immature to stay in a room with me. Do you want me dead before the last day of the camp? I'd advise you change her immediately... Or I might as well murder someone,” I muttered.Angela laughed. “You say what?”“Miss–”“You heard me. I'll kill you,” I cocked my brow higher.“Miss Monroe, Miss Fernandez?” The manager tried to speak.“Where’s the teacher? The principal??” Angela screamed.“What’s happening here?” A voice called.“Oh great, Mr. Raphael. I do not understand why my room will be assigned to this thing.”“I am not a fucking thing,” I growled, going closer to he

Angela smirked at everyone, trying to keep eye contact.I mistakenly glanced past Alexander, who had been staring at me with a blank gaze since the MC games.Right now, Angel

The classroom froze. He hit the floor, but instead of showing off his anger, he chuckled — low and unsettling. ”What have you fucking done Jordan?” I muttered.Slowly, he stood up, brushing imaginary dust off his blazer. His blue eyes locked onto mine, calm… too calm.“You’ve got guts,” he murmu

I stormed out of the room angrily and headed towards the principal's office to drop the complaint, but the hell?????”We are sorry to inform you, Miss Jordan, the rooms are filled up and you have to manage till maybe the next semester. I promise this will be sorted out," the acting principal said.

I replayed the scene countless times in my head. I lost my breath and didn't know when I rushed to hug my dad.Taylor had stormed out of the dining room angered, but obviously there was nothing she could do.Tyler had stared, and Lillian's eyes had shown fire, contrasting greatly with her smile.“E
