Chapter Sixty-six

“Seth?” He asked, looking at them. 

“No. His boss.” Bridgette said. “For now eat your breakfast. When you’re done, meet me in my office. We have a lot to go over. Know this Marco, I am all for protecting a child’s innocence but not when it could lead to getting them hurt or everyone killed.” 

Bridgette stood up from the table. She refilled her  cup and made her way to her office, leaving both kids staring after her. Bridgette knew that she would have to explain the situation and familiarize him with what was going on. She hated that people had lied to him. She hated that in the name of protecting him it had just put him in danger. 

Bridgette was fuming when she had finally sat down at her desk. Soon the kids would be in here. She needed to have everything set up and ready for them. It was time
