Chapter 21: Get Out!

“Get out,” said Joshua.

“What?” asked Megan.

Joshua looked over at her and said, “Get out!”

Megan’s breath quicken in anger. She opened the passenger side of the door and exited the vehicle.

Joshua drove off with the car’s tires screeching.

“Humph!” stomped Megan.

It was nearly dark when Megan got back to her place. Megan unlocked her apartment and walked in with a huff and a puff. She was pissed off that Joshua kicked her out of his car halfway to her home.

“That jerk!” shouted Megan.

Megan unzipped her dress but it was stuck. She couldn’t undo the zipper. In anger she toss her purse onto the table. She couldn’t believe that she was humiliated by Emily. Again she was second best to her her. Shame by the woman who took everything from her. Angry and frustrated she started to toss her room. She started pacing around the room as she was running out of money.
