Dmitri~

“Where is he?”

I asked Ciel as I barged into the room. It was four in the morning and I had to be at the office in a few hours. I do not like having my sleep disturbed but Armando Louis had been a terrible pain in my ass in the past few days.

I hadn't realized when I hired him to work for me that he had been sent to spy on me by one of the many enemies I have. The guy had not only been spying on my business operations but sabotaging a few shady deals I'd been getting into.

He finally managed to piss me off when he laundered a huge amount of money out of one of my accounts, thinking that I wouldn't know. He had no idea the full operation I ran when I wasn't too busy being a CEO at the office.

And I thought he knew better than to try to run from me.

“Strapped here, sir.” Tristan, my most trusted guard informed me.

The lights came on and illuminated the dark room. My lips tilted up in a smile as I resisted the sunken face of the green eyed man strapped to a chair, feet and wrists bound with chains so he wouldn't even dream of escaping. Judging from the stolen eyes and bloody face, I would say that my men did a pretty good job roughing him up.

“Well, well, well,” I scoffed as I took my seat in the room, my men surrounding us. Stretching out my leg on the table separating me from the criminal, I linked my fingers together.

“Armando Louis,” I whistled, grinning at the bastard.

His eyes lit up with fear as he whimpered in his seat without me touching him. The sight made me grin even more. Usually, I didn't bother with my soldiers or the miscreants working for me but this man had stepped on the wrong toes and I had to teach him a lesson.

“You know, you are really stupid. All it took to get you out of your hiding spot in the Bahamas is one of my girls. Same old trick that you fellas never fail to eat up.” I scoffed.

Looking toward Tristan, I silently ordered for him to remove the mouth gag holding Armando from talking. The man was already seriously shaking knowing his end had come. I didn't mind it one bit.

“Where is my money?” I asked him.

“I-I-I can't disclose—”

“Rough him up and teach him a little lesson,” I didn't wait to hear the rest.

Tristan stepped up in front of him and landed a blow on his face. Armando cried out while blood seeped out of the wound.

“Let me ask that again, Armando.” I began, my no-nonsense tone taking root. I didn't like to be played with and everyone who knew me in the mafia world understands that I'm not to be played with.

“Where is my money?” I asked.

He made no attempt to say anything, whimpering and crying. He was going to die anyway, I was sure he knew that. But I would give him an almost painless death if he didn't stop with the whines and cries.

Having had enough, I stood up from my chair and stalked toward him. He veered back at my movement, looking visibly afraid. Taking one of my favorite guns out of the pocket of my pants, I settled down on the table in front of him and brought the tip of the gun up to him now.

“I asked you a question, Armando. I said, where. Is. My. Money?”

A stench smell filled the air as soon as the words rolled out of my mouth. Looking down at Armando, I almost couldn't believe that the same man who had stolen from me and tried to sabotage my business was peeing his pants. What fear did to people.

“S-safe house.” He stuttered, paling.

“What safe house?” Tristan was the one who asked him

“My safe house in Vegas. Everything I stole from you is there.” He told me.

I looked toward Tristan who nodded quietly. He had been working with me for too long that he knew I would want him right check it out.

“Keep him alive till I get my money back but in the meantime, give him a little foreplay of what death would feel like.” I ordered before I stormed out of place leaving Tristan to follow me.

I got into the car that had brought me here from my house while Tristan took the wheels. I could see the rest of my men that had come with me get into the other vehicle just before Tristan started the car and sped out of the place.

“There is a business meeting I have to attend in Vegas in a few days. Leave the mission till then.” I ordered.

“Yes, boss.” Tristan nodded, quietly.

The rest of the ride was quiet after that and once we got back to the mansion we lived in, I went straight to my room and got back into bed. I could deal with the rest later.

******

There was only one person who had earned the right to speak to me however they wanted but even then, they had to watch their tone.

That person was my mother.

“Derek, how many times do I have to remind you that you are not getting any younger?” She started later in the day while I was seated in the office as the CEO of the enterprise I owned.

The legal part of my business.

“I honestly can't keep track.” I retorted, massaging my forehead. My mother could talk my ears off.

“Derek Dmitri! This is not the right attitude to have toward marriage. It's been too long. Are you not tired of my ass already? Get married and give me a grandchild.” She said, hoarding me once again.

“Yes, mum.” I mumbled just as a knock sounded on the door of my office.

Looking toward the door, I asked for the person to come knowing it was one of those people that I had to interview for the position of my personal assistant. I'd decided to take it upon myself to interview those that applied to see the person best suitable for me since I fired the last one.

A slight hesitation and then the door opened. I looked up just in time to see the next in line walk in. The first thing I noticed about her were her eyes. Nervous and fearful hazel colored eyes stared at me as she walked into the office donning a black skirt that hugged her curvy body with a shirt tucked into it.

She looked…

“Listen, son. Fernando's daughter just arrived back in the country from France. Lovely girl. She is very beautiful too. You are going to love her.”

I snapped my eyes away from her face to my phone. It was on loud speaker so I'm sure she heard every word my mom said on the line.

“Got to go, mum. I will call you later.” I cut my mother off as she was still talking about this woman I'm never going to meet.

After ending the call, I stared up at the young woman. She was very young and…beautiful.

“Good day, sir. I'm here for the job interview.” She told me.

I was barely listening as I was lost in the sound of her voice. Fuck, she was pretty. But she was also very young, I could tell.

“Name?” I asked her.

“Celestia Dominic,"

Dominic?

No, it can't be. She couldn't possibly be the daughter of Marco Dominic. He wouldn't be so stupid to send in anyone related to him knowing I would kill them. But I still had to ask.

“Any relation to Marco Dominic?” I asked her, barely able to keep the irritation off my voice.

Celestia blinked twice looking…confused. And then she shook her head. I watched her for a few seconds trying to detect if she was lying.

“No, sir.” She confirmed and I nodded, exhaling. I would hate to kill this pretty woman.

“Have your seat,” I mumbled, pointing to the chair in front of me while I looked up her resume on my screen.

Just as I guessed, she was pretty young. Younger than the women I choose to spend my time with. She fiddled with her fingers nervously, biting down on her lower lip as she looked around my office while I tried to be subtle with my stares.

Fuck, she was pretty.

I didn't know what to do with myself when I started the interview properly and she passed all of my obstacles. She was too pretty to be my assistant. No, I was already imagining the things I would do to her if I wasn't about to hire her to work for me.

Or maybe I shouldn't hire her to work for me. No. That would be just terrible of me cos I knew that I would find her and make her my mistress. Better to save myself the stress.

“Celestia ,” I called her softly, tasting her name on my lips. She looked up at me, her hazel eyes fearful.

“Sir?” she croaked.

“You are hired. And you are to start your short training immediately.” I told her, watching as her eyes lit up immediately.

“T-thank you, sir.”

I dismissed her and got busy on my laptop. Or at least, I pretended to get busy on my laptop while she walked out so I wouldn't watch the way her ass swayed naturally in the skirt she had on. That would be highly inappropriate and she was old enough to be my first daughter.

That alone is enough reason for me to keep away from her. But I'd never shied away from going after what I want. So I knew it was only going to be a matter of time.

  • Dear Husband, I'm the Mafia Princess You Want Dead!   Chapter 11

Celestia ~I slowly opened my eyes, feeling heavy and confused. Blinking a few times, I tried to take in my surroundings, but everything felt a bit fuzzy. The first thing I noticed was the soft hum of a plane engine. A plane? Where am I? What the fuck was going on? The last thing I remembered was being so angry and then… My heart raced as I pushed myself up, trying to gather my thoughts. I glanced around the large cabin, and that’s when I saw him—Dmitri . He was sitting in a seat opposite me, his eyes glued to his laptop, fingers tapping away at the keys. “Dmitri ?” I croaked, my voice sounding hoarse. He looked up instantly, his expression shifting to concern. “Hey, you’re awake,” he said, leaning forward slightly. “Are you okay?” “Uh, where are we?” I asked, trying to shake off the lingering fog in my head. He stared at me for a moment, then asked, “Do you remember last night?” I frowned, trying to recall the events. The last thing I remembered was dancing at the club, but eve

Dmitri’s POV“You all are animals! I fuckin ha–”She went quiet all of a sudden and I snuck a glance at her only to find out that the little minx was fast asleep. Hmm interesting. So she was mad that I had gone out for a bit of fun when I was just running late from a meeting with that damned club owner. The car phone buzzed and I picked it up, eyes still on the road. “Boss.”“Yes?”“It turns out that Madam was with Miss Roxanne tonight and they had a few drinks in the hotel bar, went out and back into the hotel again.”So that's where the anger all bunched up from. She had been drinking with that sneaky little brat and Roxie had unknowingly upset her the more. Tch, she had walked right into that one. I picked up the phone and called the sneaky thing responsible for this. “Why hellooo brother.”“Sigh. I knew you'd be wide awake and grinning about the foolishness you've caused.”“Awwn. He's mad that I let his blushing bride walk around sad and drunk around Vegas. Tsk, you had it comi

Derek × Celestia~“Boss she's currently on the dance floor with some random man.”I felt a wave of irritation wash over me as the guard who was supposed to watch Tia was telling me she was dancing with some random fool. Did she really leave the house to go clubbing after having a nightmare? “Keep an eye on her. I'll be there in a few minutes.”I let the hotel and got into the car. “Nollaxia.” “Yes sir.”The little minx would explain if she thought being married to me was waltzing with anyone she liked. ***Celestia~I felt so carefree with the loud thumping music and didn't want to stop. To hell with Chris or whatever his name was. He could go around fucking like the playboy he was. I swayed to the beat of the music and was getting into it until the dude dancing with me got a bit… Too touchy. “Hey, hands off. That's wandering into territory that has no business with you.”He held my wrists tightly and I struggled with him. Everyone around us was so busy dancing, they didn't noti

Celestia × Narrator~“I'm fine.”I stepped out of the room, not wanting to think about the nightmare I just had. Derek had tried to be nosy, but I didn’t want to talk about it. Especially when he had spent the night out fucking other women. The bastard. “I just need to get away for a little while,” I muttered to myself as I quickly walked down the hallway.“Hey, where are you going?” Derek called after me, his voice harsh and biting. I walked even faster.“Just… somewhere!” I shouted back, not even bothering to look at him. “Just leave me alone!”“Celestia , wait!” he said, trying to catch up. “Fuck off, Derek!” I yelled, pushing the door open and stepping outside. I knew I shouldn’t have reacted that way, but the frustration bubbled up. I didn’t want to talk about my stupid nightmare or my father. I just wanted to leave before I punched the cheating bastard in the face. “What am I doing?” I thought, trying to catch my breath. “I can’t keep up with this shit.”But instead of turni

Narrator~Back at Celestia ’s home, the atmosphere was anything but calm. The grand estate that had once felt comfortable and secure now had only chaos all over. Celestia ’s father stormed through the huge halls, his face flushed with rage. “Where is she?” he shouted, slamming his hand against a table, causing a crystal vase to topple over and shatter on the floor. “Sir, we are searching everywhere,” one of the guards said, his voice trembling slightly. “We haven’t found her yet.”“Not good enough! She needs to be found now!” Celestia ’s father yelled, his eyes flashing with fury. “Do you understand?”“Yes, sir,” the guard replied, bowing his head. “We’ll keep looking.”Celestia ’s father paced back and forth, frustration boiling over. “This is unacceptable! She can’t just run off like this! What does she think she’s doing?”“Sir, she’s—” the guard began, but he was quickly cut off.“Do not make excuses for her!” he shouted, pointing a finger angrily. “I don’t care what she thinks!

  • Dear Husband, I'm the Mafia Princess You Want Dead!   Chapter 6

Celestia~After what seemed like hours, Roxanne had finally succeeded in dragging me through every shopping district I knew in Vegas and I was half delirious and at the verge of passing out. We had gotten to the hotel room and Roxanne had hesitated to go in but I grinned assuredly. “You can come in, he isn't in the room.”“Whew. I don't see why you aren't terrified of him in the slightest.”Oh I was. Terrified he would reject my proposal and find out who my father was but of him as a person? “Meh… He's not as scary as you think.”She gave me a look that would have easily passed off for, “excuse me, what the fuck are you saying.”“Hey. I'm being for real. He isn't scary. Just annoying as fuck.”“Damn! You are the first one to see him that way.”There was nothing scary about the man. Asides the fact that could be a bit too much, nothing ever made me see him in such a light. Father was far more menacing than him in so many ways. He seemed like a tame cat but then I barely knew him yet.
