Passing the gate drained even more of Shedim’s powers. He knew he needed a nap as soon as possible. Even if it was for just a little bit, he wanted to close his eyes and rest without moving even a single inch. He knew this was not the time for that, after what he had just discovered, his main priority was to return to their home. He grit his teeth, wondering how long he would be able to call it ‘their home’. The way the circumstances are, it would not be easy to protect what was dear to him.
