Avoiding him

I opened the paper bag only to see a coffee in it with a brand name on it. I picked the cup, looked at the side and smiled. He even pasted a note on it.

Which says, ‘it's cold today, the hot coffee will make you warm.’

I smiled wholeheartedly at his step to pursue me. It actually started with a cup of coffee. Cute and wrong. Do many boys are trying to get me to become their girlfriends. It's just so confusing and weird.

I sighed, then turned my head towards the window to feel the fresh air. Instead of receiving fresh air, my eyes saw someone who I am not supposed to see. Lucian! It was like he also was looking towards the window, right at my classroom. We both exchanged glances like it was made for. We both stared at each other for three seconds.

I gasped, quickly taking my head away.

Lucian took another car today, just for him not to attract passerbys, especially girls. He made sure to wear a mask and a pair of glasses and a comfy sweater before getting into his car.
