“Pull the knife out.” The King ordered and the guards did, Ashley cried in pain and fell to her knees.

“I will ask you again dear, why does a ruthless ancient demon care for a mortal?” He asked and stood in front of her.

“I don't know.” She cried and he smiled.

“Hmm, it's such a pity you can't heal up. How about we try this again?” The King asked and they stabbed the same spot again, she cried and was terrified as good gushed out, she wondered why Hayden hasn't shown up yet and the King laughed.

“You are expecting Hayden? Hayden is kind of busy with his betrothed right now.” The King laughed and she winced in pain.

She felt weak and the pain became unbearable, she muttered Bryan’s name and he showed up immediately, she sighed in relief on seeing him and she slowly blacked out.

Hayden wrapped his arms around the Princess's waist and kissed her roughly, he pushed her to his bed and she giggled.
