Alexa bowed to me and said, "pleased to meet you Luna."

I greeted both Ava and Alexa with a smile. They seemed nice. I could hear voices from inside, but I didn't see anyone.

I climbed the staircase following Alexa, who guided me to a set of double doors on the third floor . A muscular man stood beside the door, looking terrifying.

Short black hair cut military style; he cocked his eyes at me before politely bowing his head.

Alexa nodded to the man as he opened the door. I didn't have time to say anything because I was quickly ushered inside....

The room was warm and inviting, with a cozy fireplace in the sitting area. There were several comfortable looking chairs near the fire. A flat screen tv hung on the wall, in front of a full sized leather couch.

Several paintings and antiques decorated the room exquisitely.

"This is the Alpha's private quarters. The bedroom and bathroom are all in here. I will have food and fresh clothes sent up to you. They'll be a guard posted at the door."

I nodded. "Thank you Alexa. How many people live here?" I asked.

"Not more than thirty. A few lone wolves and staff. The rest all live within the pack land in their own houses, or the hostel of the unmated."

"That's very few people for such a big house." I gasped.

She smiled. "Ohh it's very busy here, ever since the Alpha moved into this quarters . You won't feel lonely I assure you."

"He didn't stay here before?" I asked

"No Luna, the previous Alpha used to stay in the mansion right behind this mansion. It's near the riverfront . Alpha Aiden only moved here after he became the Alpha of the pack. It was easier to manage things from the pack house."

"Alright then." I smiled at her useful information. "Thank you once again. You can call me Blair ."

Alexa beamed back at me. "As you wish Luna.... I mean Blair."

"These rooms are the alpha's territory. No one would bother you here. For now, stay indoors and don't go out." She pointed at the bedroom.

I wondered why everyone was hell bent on keeping me indoors like a prisoner.

"The Alpha's rooms have been protected against certain things with spells and of course, the usual security that prevents anyone from breaking in." She kept talking about security, while I zoned out and observed the room. I had no interest whatsoever in following this rule, but I was not going to make my life more difficult than it already was .

Alexa walked out of the room, and closed the door behind her.

Alone inside the elegant suite, I walked from the sitting room into the large bedroom. I had no wish to go outside, even if I was safe here, and that was exactly what Aiden wanted. The glass doors allowed faint sunlight to wash instead the room and give everywhere a dazzling glow.

An enormous king sized bed graced one wall of the room. The bed towered in the large space. I stepped up to it and admired in details, the magnificent carved wood posts that supported the heavy canopy above it. Piled high with large pillows, it was a bed befitting a King.

After admiring the show of wealth, I walked into the bathroom and was more amazed. It was big and could have accommodated ten people. A large walk-in shower adorned the back wall, and a jacuzzi tub sat quite prominently in the middle of the room. It's not like I wasn't used to luxury, but this was all too much.

The colors were white and spotless, while large mirrors covered most of the walls. The sink was also spotless. A second sink area was on the opposite wall. I was puzzled to see boxes of deodorants and mouth wash in the same brand as mine. I picked a tube of toothpaste, and I immediately knew Aiden knew I'd come here.

I wondered what else he knew about me . That thought alone was frightening. The marble tiles were cool under my feet as I kicked off my shoes and went completely naked. Not being sure of what to do with my clothes, piled them by the corner.

After my shower, I found a t-shirt and underwear, all my size in one of the wardrobes. They were also other dresses, and clothes as well, but I chose comfort over those tight corsets. I had absolutely no intention of enticing Aiden. I glanced at the alarm clock by the bed, and it was 5pm. With nothing else to do, I started exploring the suite. It was big with a study, mini gym, and a kitchen of it's own. I guess he didn't eat in the general pack house.

The study had all types of books ranging from fiction, business administration to mechanical engineering. I wondered who read all these. I arrived back at the living room and curled up on the couch, waiting for Aiden to come back.

I woke up to the wet sensation of someone nuzzling my neck.

"What are you doing?" I winced and immediately tried to move away. Only to realize I was pinned under him already. Well, not exactly pinned. I had fallen asleep with my head on the headrest and he was leaning over to me, to reach my neck. He was too heavy to shove off. I could only squeal under him.

"What are you looking for?" He whispered in my ear and continue nuzzling.

"No, stop. You promised not to mark me." I squirmed and turned away to avoid his lips.

I am not marking you, relax." He chuckled, and interlaced his fingers with mine, pulling me down so I was lying on the couch with his body bent over mine. Both my arms were pinned on either side of my head.

My wolf was ecstatic, and I was already getting wet, though I had tried all my possible best to resist.

"You said you wouldn't do anything." I squealed.

"I can't remember making such promise. I said I will not mark you, which I won't do for now. I never promised anything about not wanting you." His voice sounded with lust.

I closed my eyes shut as he traced my neck with his tongue. He was so hard to resist.

"What do you want?" I whispered, my eyes still shut.

"You already know what I want." He replied. "But I don't think you're ready for it yet." He said, sliding over me, leaving trails of kisses from my jawline to my neck, extracting a gasp from me.

"Please stop." I whimpered, which came out more like a moan than an order.

"This is just the beginning. Remember I am to punish you for your insolence back at the car?" He whispered into my ears.

My eyes flew open. Wait what? I assumed he had forgotten all about it.

"You must be kidding me right now!" I yelled at him

His gaze roamed over my facial features as if searching for vulnerabilities that I was trying to hide. While my heart hammered, he seemed relaxed and at ease, as if he was treating himself languidly to some diversion.

"I am serious." He answered, " However, I am not stupid. If you entertain me well enough, I can be more merciful with your punishment." He suggested.

"Get the fuck off me." I tried to push him off with all my might."

"Very rude, Blair. Is that how you show respect to your Alpha?" He gripped my wrist tightly, until I could feel the pain coming from them.

"You have disobeyed me and for that, they'd be huge consequences. I don't want you forming a habit out of it." He smirked, forcing me to look into his deep blue eyes.

"You would be punished Blair, that I can assure you." His lips curled into a cruel smile.
