"Don't be angry, your Highness. As the Luna, I promise you that I will make sure she is duly punished."

Dylan looked at her indifferently.

" She is mine to punish."

"Huh," Hyrene said.

She had thought with Dylan's brutality, he would be glad that the maid would be punished by them.

"You are not deaf" he said sternly.

Lucius was just seated there, eating his food like he never existed. He pitied them as they were trying to please Dylan.

He had known Dylan all his life and yes, he was never easy to please. If Dylan seemed to be pleased with you, it means you've almost died or even dead. That is he has never been pleased with anyone's attitude.

As his Beta, it has been a long time since he had given up on pleasing the Lycan King. He wouldn't want to waste his time on that. He would just do what he wants to do and do it well. No pleasing the Alpha King Dylan in this lifetime.

Selena on the other hand would have left but she knew it would be rude to leave without the King's permiss
