She opened her eyes when she heard his soft laugh as he moved his lips away from hers. “Please don’t show me that face. You make me want to tease you even more,” he said into her, smiling teasingly.

She fell silent, breathing nervously, trying to calm her rapid heartbeat. Now she knew he was teasing her, deliberately frightening her. As her fear disappeared, sadness filled her heart. She felt sad that he didn't kiss her.

His eyes turned soft, staring into her eyes with his gentle gaze, as he knew what she felt and wanted. He then slipped his hand gently behind her neck and brought his lips closer to hers.

She immediately held back his chest with her hand before their lips touched. “Please, stop teasing me,” she said into his eyes. She thought that he was teasing her again.
