INICIAR SESIÓN“Who are you?” Avan didn't plan on wasting any more time. There had only been one woman that made him feel this way, but she was no longer here, and he had forgotten how it felt to just see someone and know they were made for you.
It was unusual to have a second mate, and in his case, it didn't make sense when that was a wolf with no rank and from a pack that were considered outcasts.
She didn't show any signs of panic but she kept her head down as she acknowledged his presence.
“You keep trying to communicate with me,” He said “What is that about?”
She took her time to carefully process what she was about to say because she didn't want to stutter. “I do not know, it is not something I can control.” She said,
“Why weren’t you assigned a rank?” he asked.
“It wasn’t time.” She said,
He looked at her over “You seem pretty mature to me.”
Isha brought her hands over her body as she suddenly became conscious of her appearance. Her cloth was too thin, made of poor quality material. It was nothing compared to the attires she had while she was at Craw.
“Do you need anything?” She didn't know what else to say and his presence made her feel awkward , it was uncomfortable.
“I need to know what use you can be to me and my pack members, and for now I do not see anything useful.”
“You could just sell me, then. It’s what you love to do, anyway.”
Avan was taken aback. First, no one dared disrespect him, unless of course you were ready to challenge him, and that was something that never crossed the mind of any sane wolf. Second, not a lady. “You watch your mouth, young woman. Your very life lies in my hands. Although you have been acting like you are so smart, I guessed you would have already figured that out.”
A smile tugged at the corner of her lips “You’ve been watching. Or I guess, you’ve been the one trying to initiate a connection between us.”
Isha knew this was the strongest wolf in this pack due to his status, and also due to the combat she had experienced earlier when she had walked into that room. But that was a rank she had trained for all her life and so she had never been one to bow, she was always the one being bowed to and so despite the helplessness and confusion she was currently experiencing, her ego was still very much intact. And she loved that it interested this handsome man who kept studying her, making her uncomfortable.
Avan could feel the immense strength from her. This wasn’t just an omega, but he could not properly attribute her to a rank himself.
He scoffed at her response “I hope you keep this up, I would really love to know who you are.”
She blinked as he spoke, her mind going back to what had happened that had led her to where she currently was and watched him walk away,
She got to her room and sat down in frustration. She needed to map out a plan. There were two other beds in the room but the other girls were not in and so she took a quick bath and settled in. It was very quiet and she was hungry but she didn't know who to meet or what to do. Her mind was clouded with a million thoughts and she did not know how to organize them together.
After laying in bed for minutes and not seeing anyone, she became worried. The rumbling in her tummy was not making matters any better and so she got up, looked for the most decent item she could find in the closet and then made her way out of the room and into the other quarters.
The building was huge and there were so many turns, she kept wondering how she would find her way back. Five turns later, she had given up and decided she would just have to ask someone to direct her. But no one was around or at least close by but she had to admit, the pack was beautiful, even more beautiful than Craw.
Everything was different, she observed. There were ornaments everywhere, sometimes they scared her due to their size and stature. She kept moving until she got to the balcony and that was when she heard it. Stifled moans, the rocky sound of a chair under a sort of pressure that could only be caused by sex, rough sex.
Her instinct told her to walk away but then her legs kept moving, closer and closer to the sound until she got to the far end of the wall where there was a window, she looked through and on a table lay a red head, back arched as she matched to the beat of her rider.
Isha was frozen for a while as she watched, but not for long because they both stopped abruptly, and two pairs of eyes flashed her way.
She took off, dashing across the hallway like her life depended on it, aware of the presence that was right behind her. She crossed three flights of stairs and then found a corner to hide. He didn't chase for long and she knew it was because he wasn't properly dressed and anyone seeing him the way he was would definitely ask questions.
When she was certain she was safe, she descended the remaining way down to the last floor and she finally saw everyone else. A few were on the field, hanging out in twos or threes, the others were in a building, she could see the lights and the windows were very transparent. The nervousness she was feeling quickly faded as she blended in with the crowd.
“Hey, what's going on in there?” She asked a girl who was struggling to adjust the ropes of her dress into the intended style, but the dress was pretty old and Isha could tell it had been worked on multiple times to fit her, definitely a hand-down.
The girl looked up. She had really big bold eyes. “Dinner”, she said non-chalantly and then resumed fidgeting with her dress. Then, as if she had an afterthought, she looked back up “Are you one of the new girls?” She asked.
Isha nodded.
“You have to hurry up, dinner ends in fifteen minutes.”
‘Thanks” she began walking away and then turned in surprise to see the girl trailing behind as she tried to catch up with her.
“I am Emma.” She flashed a set of perfect teeth “What’s your name.”
Isha smiled within her, it wouldn't hurt to have a friend in this place afterall “Carol.” Their pace doubled as they approached the door of the building and Isha sighed in relief as the aroma of good food wafted through her nose “I hope they have beef.”
“Did you catch up with them?” Vivian was curled up on the chair when he was back and she stood up as he approached her.He grabbed his shirt and began fastening the buttons as fast as he could.“We got to go.” He said.She.oeered into his face “you need to talk to me, what happened?”“Unfortunately, we do not have the time for that.” He reminded her.She sniffed “Oh we're doomed.” And then stopped when she realized he wasn't paying her any attention. “Could you at least say something to me? Did you at least see who they were?”“I didn't” his tone came out stronger than he intended and so he paused, closed his eyes for a minute and when they were open, he spoke quietly “I did not. They were fast and I could only go so far to not risk more eyes.”Her hands came over her mouth as she restrained herself from yelling. “We are in trouble, Nate.”He closed the distance between them and held her face in his hands “Whoever they were, they know not to want trouble with a beta. Plus, no matter w

Claws slashed the wall right above her head as the wolf rammed against it. Isha dropped to her knees in fear as that was the least thing she was expecting as she walked through the door. There had been no heads-up and the person leading her hadn't even been kind enough to let her know her name so she followed her blindly.“Stick to the wall.” She said without looking back again and Isha remained in awe.She had met her by the door when she was done changing and together, they had resumed their long walk and now, they were at the council grounds. Isha only knew that due to the huge warning against unauthorized entry.Within her, her wolf jolted, and Isha couldn't tell if that was a worry or something entirely different. She bit her lips as she struggled to get on her feet. “Not here, not here please” she muttered as she rose. The presence was there again, and this time it was stronger. A quick turn around and she noticed the wolf who had thrown the other standing at the far end of the
To the amazement of Isha, she was taken to a room and asked to wait. While she waited, she reflected on the past seven days of her life. It had been hell. She hadn't eaten a decent meal these days and had spent hours balling her eyes out in the dark. From watching her mother lose her head at the hands of the axe man, to her dad sending her to the dungeons, to her letting go of her treasury in exchange for her freedom, to getting betrayed and being sold away like a bag of tomatoes, to being brought to Blue Villa, it felt like she was seeing a movie, except this time, this movie was too real, it made her bleed.Everything had happened so fast and she knew she needed to get rest and quickly too, otherwise she was so close to passing out.She did everything to suppress her wolf from revealing herself every time it was about to happen. She was not about to bear being mocked a second time. And her wolf had been quiet for two days. It seemed she had given up and accepted that she wasn't wan
Avan made his way down the hallway, three guards trailing behind, struggling to match his steps. The new slaves had been brought in and he was about to see if any of them could be put to good use.Of late, trade had been going well and Blue Villa was flourishing. He was going to stop at nothing till every other pack was at his feet, a small price for killing his mate.“How many?” He asked his right hand man, Harry, without turning.“Eight” Harry replied. “All female” Harry chuckled “good looking ones”He licked his lips to avoid smiling. The she-wolves were the real deal. They were either sold for money, pleasure or he could always make use of them either. Plus they did a lot of talking to get on his good side so he could always get whatever information he needed.She-wolves were always useful either way.He arrived at the clearing and came to a halt as he took in the sight in front of him. It was just as Harry had said. Eight beautiful she-wolves.“Let me see their eyes” he commande
The gasps resounded in her ears. The stares, she could still feel them burn through her, and she had broken down, had shrieked instead of howl, but no one laughed. There was nothing to laugh about. She had dashed through the crowd, the ground feeling uncomfortable under her feet. It was the most vulnerable she ever felt, the most useless, the most naked, the most empty.Empty, that was the word.It had been years of being the strong and young budding alpha female, and in one night, it seemed all of that had been taken away. The wolves of the Craw pack were black and strong, their eyes a variety of colors that changed based on their mood. The wolves of other packs had similar characteristics and sometimes you could only tell the difference based on scent and markings.“Other packs” however, did not include the Decent pack, the pack of the white wolves. They were the outcasts and had gone into hiding for many years now because as Isha had always been told, they were a mistake to the wer
