I’m flattered Natalie,” I say to her recovering from her verbal caress. “We are almost done with the hunger case, thanks to the mayor’s help. What’s next for you?” I ask her, paving a path for her to talk about the main reason she called.

After spending a month with her, it’s safe to say that she is flirting to cover up her true emotions.

She always chooses the avoidance route for every problem she faces.

Always in a battle with herself on whether or not to trust anyone with these problems.

I've noticed that each second her mind is whirring with different possibilities and situations where the information she’ll share about herself would be used against her.

This psychological basis is most likely related to her childhood and she found different efficient means to barricade her true feelings no matter how badly she wanted to say them. I guess each person has their personal means and mine is the flirtatious face.
