PICKING UP THE KIDS

Coming to my company and seeing my company securities standing outside the company, I asked my driver to stop and wine down then I heard the cry of a baby, I got out of my car and walk to where my securities were all standing staring into something and they pave way for me to see the stroller, they were three babies and I pick up the one that was crying carefully, I cradled her in my hand and she stopped crying.

I told my PA to help me pick the remaining two into my car, They were place at the backseat with me with the girl in my hand and I told the head security to meet me in my office while I ask that the stroller be place into the car trunk.

The driver starts the car and drove us into the company.

" How can a mom be so callous to abandon her three children" I muttered.

The car pulled up and I asked my PA bring out the stroller and I carefully pick the kids one by one and place them into the stroller, my PA wanted to help me but I didn't let him and the girl began to cry again.

I pick her up and place her on my chest and I realize I kept having the strange connection each time I place her on my chest when she cries and she would stop crying, I let my PA push the two remaining babies behind me.

I entered into the company, my workers, clients had all their eyes on me, I understood because they have never seen me with a baby or a wife.

We walk into the private elevator while my PA pushes the remaining two into the elevator and I look down to the two boys in the cradle, I held both hand and smile.

The elevator took us up to the last floor where my office is suited, we got out and my secretary, cleaners quickly greeted me and staring at me in surprise as they saw me with a baby in my hand and two others in the stroller.

I walk into my office while my PA takes his leave, I try to place the girl in my hand down but she wouldn't allow me to because she kept crying when I try to put her down.

I look up to the table and I could see lot of file on my table but I can stand this baby crying.

Not long one of the boys begin to cry and I drop the girl and pick the boy up , I carried the boy and the girl began to cry.

I pick up the girl too, I place both of them on my chest , I sat down and they stop crying while the security came in.

I asked the head security if they notice anyone? He replies no and I asked if they checked the CCTV and he said yes, that they couldn't see the face properly because the woman had a scarf and glasses on her face then I demanded to see the footage.

I was waiting for the footage when my girlfriend Irene enters , she stopped in her track when she saw me with two babies.

She place her handbag on my desk.

" Hey babe" I said.

She didn't reply to my greetings instead she walk closer to me and peeps at the stroller.

" Whose babies are these? She asked.

" I came this morning and find them at the company's gate" I replied.

" And why are you cradling them on your chest like they are yours? She asked.

" They are kids , they were crying , so I just place them on my chest" I replied.

" Uhmmmm! She muttered.

"What do you mean by uhmmmmm? I asked.

" Because this is a company and not some orphanage home? Why would someone drop her babies here if you are not connected to the person? Do you think I am daft, a dumb-skull that doesn't know that you have girlfriends that you go about sleeping with ? I know this kids might be a plan between you and one of your numerous girlfriends and you do not want me to know that she has a baby for you then both of you plan that she should drop the baby and you will know how to play me? Isn't it? She says.

"Are you for real Irene? Are you trying to tell me you don't trust me ? Are you this insecure ? We have dated for over four years and you still don't trust me? I can't believe you will think of me cheating on you" I said.

" Really? You didn't cheat on me? What about you cheating on me with Britany? Or do you think I don't know about it? We all had an agreement but what did you do, you went ahead and start sleeping with her, if I wasn't smart enough maybe she would have gotten pregnant" Irene said.

I was shocked to find out she knew about my affair with Britany, the truth is that in between my wedding contract with Britany I fell in love with her and I haven't been able to take her off my mind.

I stood up with the babies and wanted to place the babies back to the stroller and I needed her help.

" Can you please help me out Brita.......I quickly pause to call her by her name".

"Britany! That is it, you will always call me by her name! She said in anger.

" I am so sorry Brita.....I tripped off.

" Oh God! I just can't believe this ! Always calling me by her name after almost two years! She says with her voice breaking.

" Irene....I am so sorry" I said.

" Do you even love me? She asked.

" I do Brit...." I paused in my word.

She picks her handbag from my desk and left angrily.

I sigh and sit back and the security knocked and I asked him to come in, I asked him to help me with the baby and I place them back into the stroller.

" Sir this is the footage sir" he says.

I collected the footage and ask him to leave then , I also pick my phone to call my PA in.

I call the police station and made a report on the babies while I also call my lawyer because I have a plan to adopt this babies if their parents are not found.

My PA came in and I told him to put in for Nanny agency that we need a nanny and a nurse to help take care the kids.

I checked the footage and I could see a woman dropped them and I could see she willing did it drying her tears, I could see she ran away from the footage meaning she doesn't want the kids.

I then thought inside of me to adopt the kids.
