    *Princess Anatalia's Pov*

My blood boiled after hearing my brother's words. He will demote my daughter and kick her out of Citrine? How could he do this to my Amira!

I walked as fast as I could to the carriage that's waiting for me outside the palace. I will never let them succeed on their plans against my daughter. I will make them experience my wrath!

"Where are we going your highness?" my lady-in-waiting asked me as soon as I steeped out of the palace gates.

"We are going to the secret council Masha," I told her while clenching my jaw. "And inform my daughter about her punishment. Send someone to the university and never let her go back to the palace while we are still fixing things!"

"Yes your highness," she answered while bowing down her head. I stepped inside the carriage while clenching my fists. Amira is my only daughter and she's the only memory I have with my late husband. And I will never let anyone separate her from me, not even my brother!

The secret council is not that far from the palace. We arrived there after almost 20 minutes of travelling.

"Your highness, we're here," Masha announced as soon as the carriage stopped. She opened the door for me and guided me to come out.

I straightened my body before I started to walk confidently.

We entered a small lodge with a lot of rebels inside. These people hated my brother for so long and they want him to step out of the throne. And I took that chance to make them choose my side and help me rebel against the king.

"This way your highness." Masha guided me towards the secret door. She opened it using the secret code.

"What brought you here your highness?" Caflon the head of the bandits asked me with a smirk.

"I came here to inform you that we will attack the palace tonight," I told him. He smiled widely because of what I said.

"Finally! The moment that we've been waiting for  finally arrived!" he said using his evil voice.

"Prepare your men, I don't want any distractions and failures! We have to defeat the king and his army so that I will be able to ascend to the throne tomorrow morning!"

"As you wish your highness! I will prepare my men, wait for us at the palace tonight and prepare for the blood bath!" he said confidently.

"Make sure of that Caflon! The king reigned for so many years already, and now is the time for him to rest." We both laughed hard with the plan that we are thinking.

After talking to Caflon and giving him instructions, I hurriedly went back to the palace. I secretly sneaked inside so that my brother won't notice that I left. I run as fast as I could to my room in the west wing of the palace. And just as when I was about to open the door to my room, somebody spoke.

"Where did you go earlier Anatalia?" I smirked after realizing that it was my sister-in-law's voice. I turned to face her and give her a bored look.

"It's none of your business Maurice!"

"None of my business? You left without even informing us? You're old enough Anatalia, I assume you already know the rules of this palace!" she shouted angrily at me.

"Oh really Maurice? Are you that strict on palace laws? Or you are just afraid that I will do what I had just told your husband earlier?" I asked her with a smirk.

"I'm not afraid of whatever it is that you're planning to do! So if you're thinking that you scared us with your threats, then you're wrong!" she yelled before she started to walk away from me.

"How pathetic!" I opened the door to my room and went inside with a smile on my face.

No matter how much she tries to act strong ,she still won't be able to hide the fact that she's a weakling.

A weakling that does not deserve to be called queen. Same with her shameless daughter! Speaking of that Ana Mae, maybe it's time for me to pay her a visit.

"Mom!" I turned around to face my nervous daughter who had just barged inside my room.

"What are you doing here Amira? I told Masha to send someone to the university to inform you that you are not allowed to comeback here!" I scolded her.

"But mom, where will I go? This palace is my only home," she cried. "And I'm afraid mom, I just want to stay beside you. Please protect me mom."

"You should have thought about that before being so careless with your acts! You should have informed me first before doing some risky moves!"

"I'm sorry mom, but I was so jealous with her that I wasn't able to think properly. Mom I beg you please save me," she begged while crying.

My tears started to fall from my eyes after seeing my daughter's scared expression. I hugged her tightly and let her cry on my shoulders.

"Shhhh, don't worry my Princess I will never let them hurt you," I promised her.

"How will you do that mom?" she confusedly ask.

"Just trust me, I will do anything for you even if it means crashing this whole palace down!"

"What will I do now mom? What if they find out that I'm here?" Her hands were shaking and her eyes are swelling.

I hold her hand and gently squeeze it to calm her down.

"Whatever happens, I will never let them hurt you nor demote you as a princess. Tonight everything will change. The future that we once dreamed will finally come to reality," I told her. She stared at me with curiosity written all over her face.

"How will you do that mother? Don't tell me-"

"Yes Amira, tonight a rebellion will take place and in God's will, we will be able to attain the positions that we deserve!"

"That's awesome to hear mother. Finally uncle's reign is over, Ana Mae won't be able to step on me. Because after tonight we will change positions!" she said with glee.

"Yes my dear child. Tomorrow morning you will be the crown princess of Citrine and no one will be able to change that!" Our evil laughters filled my room.

Tonight the odds in heaven will surely favor me and my daughter. I walked towards the direction of my parent's portrait.

"I will show you that you have made the wrong decision to choose my brother instead of me. I am way more capable than him. And tonight I am going to prove it to you mom and dad! Let's see how much longer your beloved son will be able to resist my wrath!" I said talking to their portrait with a smirk on my face.

"Poor Ana Mae, when she wakes up she's no longer a princess," Amira said while laughing.

"I doubt if she will even wake up! I heard what the physician said to Maurice earlier, her body is starting to go weaker sooner or later she will learn how to give up," I assured her.

Poor Ana Mae, who would have thought that she will not be able to take over the throne? She thought she was destined to be queen, but unfortunately she's destined to die in our hands! What a cruel fate she has.

*First Person's POV* Just as when I was about to blame myself, Leanna spoke, "No madame! The Gods did not sacrifice all of you!" The woman diverted her gaze to her. "And how did you know?" she asked while raising her left brow. "Because I'm one of the servants of the Gods. I am the guardian of the chosen one, and I know the whole story," Leanna stated while the woman stared at her with wide eyes. "So you're one of their accomplices? And you planned all of this just to know our whereabouts and sacrifice our lives once again? I really can't believe that the Gods could be that selfish! "No! I just want you to know the truth!" "We already know what the truth is!" the woman insisted."When we met the dark immortals earlier they told us that the reason why you hid yourselves down here, is that you are all selfish. But I did not believe them, because I don't want to judge someone without even knowing the truth. I just hope you will do the same with the God

First Person's POV; "ZION!" I heard Diane screaming Zion's name. She must've been worried about him but the big question in my mind right now is, why would Zion risk his life to protect me? I stared at his eyes but still I could not see any emotion from it. He's still as cold as ice. "Your highness ,you better not forget our mission. Don't be so careless, or you might get yourself killed," Stefan said and Zion automatically let go of me. It's as if he was burned or something. "Are you okay Ana?" Diane asked as she hurriedly run towards me. Lyndon and Leanna did the same thing and they started checking if I got wounds or bruises. "I'm fine guys, you don't have to worry about me," I told them with a smile. The three of them stared at Zion with confusions written all over their faces. They were probably thinking on why the hell would Zion save my life, when he's obviously one of our enemies wishing for my death. Well, I wonder the same thing though. Maybe it

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 43

*First Person's Pov*Our journey to the North side of the forest lasted for two dark days. We were all exhausted when we reach the pear plantation. The place was serene and just like the other side of the forest, we did not see even a single animal walking around. All we could see through the tiny light of the moon are tall pear trees with fruits shining as it's touched by the moonlight."How are we going to find the white oracles here? All that's here are pear trees," Diane said frustratingly."Haven't you heard what Leanna told us before we came here? Pears are what the white oracles eat. So I'm pretty sure we're going to find one here!" Lyndon told Diane with a glare. I can't believe these two are starting to have their quarrels again."Guys please just be quite. We're not trying to let them know we're here and run off, aren't we?" I hushed them out."Sorry Ana, it just that there's some grinch over here!" Diane rolled her eyes at Lyndon."So you dare to say that I'm a grinch?

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 42;

*First Person's POV*Just by looking into his eyes I realised how much I've longed for him. And in a split second I found myself drowning in the valley of his gaze as I danced with the rhythm of my heart. I don't need a love like Romeo and Juliet's, nor of Edward and Bella. What I want is a unique and pure love whom I can call my own."Zion," I mumbled as the wind gently blows, touching his face. He stared at me emotionless, it's as if he doesn't even know who I am. How come? I thought our love was unforgettable. But it seems like I'm the only one who thinks that way."Oh my dear cousin." I was pulled out from my fantasies when I heard my cousin's voice."Amira? What are you doing here?" I asked her in disbelief. Don't tell me, that she and Zion came here together? My questions were answered when she clung to Zion's arms and smirked at me."Oh my dear cousin, it seems like you have fallen in love with someone you don't know," she told me with a smirk."What are you talking about

*Third Person's POV*"That chosen one is starting to piss me off!" Velion shouted angrily after receiving the news from the raven he sent to follow Princess Ana Mae."I did not know that they could easily know the secret on how to defeat those spirit knights," Amira said in disbelief. Velion stared at her angrily and she nervously swallowed the lump in her throat."And you! You're a coward! You should've fought with her instead of leaving those spirit knights alone!" he yelled at her. "You could've defeated her since I have given you a lot of powers. But you're still useless!""I'm sorry my king, I promise to do my job better next time. Just please don't punish me," she begged. She's too scared to be killed. She don't want to die without avenging her mom. Besides, all her efforts would be in vain if Velion would kill her now."Surely you will. Because if you fail this time, I will kill you without having a second thought," he warned her. "I promise my king, just tell me what you wan

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 40

*First Person's POV* The woods were covered with darkness and just like when we first entered this forest, we did not see even a single animal. Not even a chirp from a bird could be heard. "It's getting creepier in here," Diane whispered to me while biting her nail. It's some kind of mannerism for her whenever she fell nervous. "I know but we still have to travel to the North part of this forest. We need to find the white oracles as soon as possible," I told her. And with the tiny light from the moon, I saw her pout. "Yeah but don't you think we need to rest a bit? Those dark spirit knights drained all my strength," she complained which made me chuckle. "I think you're right. After all we're all exhausted after that intense fight ,we all deserve to rest," I agreed with her. "Let's look for a safe place to camp," Lyndon suggested. We all agreed and look for a safe place to stay. Leanna walked farther from us so she could check if the area is safe.
