If there was one person who should know about her secret, it would be Melanie. After a gruesome plane crash took her parents' lives, she became her own family. It wouldn't be fair for her not to know the truth.
She was waiting for her friend to react but she seemed disinterested. "I guess she's still upset," she thought to herself.
However, for some reason, Melanie was looking at her suspiciously.
"Have you heard?" She wanted to ask Rica why she came in late. It was the first time. She was known for being always the early bird in their department.
