CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX (Special Chapter)

"Ahh, M-maui, may ibibigay pala sana ako sa 'yo." May iniabot si Florence sa akin. It was wrapped in a parchment paper with a thin red ribbon to bind the wrapper.

"What's this?" I asked while unwrapping what she gave me. It is an unfinished sketch of my face in charcoal pencil, enclosed in a wooden frame. I easily recognized that it was me despite the fact that some parts are not shaded yet.

"Ibibigay ko sana sa 'yo 'yan sa 1st anniversary natin," paliwanag niya. "Kaso.. k-kaso hindi na umabot. Kaya hindi ko na tinapos. Ayoko namang itapon, pero ayoko na ring itago. Kung.. kung gusto mong tapusin, o may kilala kang puwedeng magdugtong, ipagawa mo na lang siguro. O i-dispose mo na lang. Ang importante ay maibigay ko 'yan sa 'yo."
