"God this storm is bad." I have to shout so Aidan can hear me. "We need to get off of the road."

"My house is close. We can wait it out there." He shouts back without taking his eyes off of what can be seen of the road.

We arrive at Aidan's parents house in 5 minutes and pull safely into the garage. Aidan climbs out while I immediately check the weather app on my phone. He opens the door then offers me his hand. I look up at him in excitement.

"Did you know that this is the worst snow storm we have EVER had. How cool is that?" I say while taking his hand. He just chuckles and squeezes my hand. His garage leads into a stunning kitchen where his parents sit looking very worried.

"Oh thank goddess your home safe." His mother says while rushing to him to wrap him in a huge hug. "We were so worried about you driving in this weather. Weren't we Mark?" His mother turns to his father.

"So worried. But you're an excellent drive
