She's in the heat...

Same as human teens, werewolves deal with certain changes and hormones tenses at a certain time in their life. Exactly when meeting the mate. - that's what we call the heat.

Werewolves' hormones and changes are intensified when it comes to she-wolves. The desire to mate is stronger than it ever could be. Also, this exact period gets to be followed by physical changes in voice, scent, body, and of course, the desire to mate with the destined mate gets stronger.

 Like any she-wolf, she was in the heat, and her scent reached into where I was making it hard for me to keep control over myself, neither to focus on what I was here for.
