I gave Alexandria one of my shirts to wear to bed. I know she would look amazing in it. Her scent swirled with mine. I left her to shower and take care of herself while I finished some paperwork before bed. Beta Max came and knocked on my office door. "What's up Max?" He looked a little worried. Max sat down in the chair in front of me and stared at me. "Dude, what's wrong?" I asked. He just shook his head.

Alexandria POV It's been 2 days since I left the Demoncrest pack. My body felt weak. May won't stop howling in my head. I haven't even left my bed. Wyatt pov I was sitting in my office going over some new contracts for one of our businesses. I couldn't really focus. My mind was on Alexandria. I missed her so much already. Alexandria povWhen I woke up, I could instantly smell that he was here with me. I opened my eyes, and there he was. He was sitting in a chair next to my hospital bed, with his head laying down on the bed and his hand on mine. I couldn't help but smile. I wanted to give him a chance to explain, but i'm not sure I need one. I know he made her leave, and I guess I kinda understand. He's an Alpha, and has been looking for his mate for years.I reached over to the bedside table and grabbed a cup of water. My mouth was dry, I wonder how long I've been out.
