Chapter 9 - Surprise Visit
*Tora’s POV*
I couldn’t believe how well the soldiers were handling having a dragon on their territory. Once the nerves calmed down and the anxiety subsided, it was nothing but the feeling of butterflies in my stomach from all the happiness and excitement that surrounded me.
“Maggie?” One soldier asked.
“Yes?” She asked kindly.
“This might sound weird but um…” He stopped and looked around at his fellow pack members. A few of them nodded and he looked back up at her, “Can you give us a ride?”
“A ride?” Maggie asked confused.
“Well you see, none of us can fly and some of us were wondering if, well, if you could give us a ride?” He asked again.
Maggie and Koa exchanged looks while attempting to hold in their laughter but both failed horribly! Koa was rolling on the ground laughing so hard and Maggie actually snorted.

*Cheyenne’s POV*I wasn’t exactly sure how to bring the subject up to Tyler that his mate was at our meeting, much less ask him why she would’ve been there, one that even he couldn’t be at. Do I just rip the Band-Aid off, so to speak, and just come right out and say it? Was there a way to even sugarcoat it to try to break it to him nicely? *Cheyenne's POV*“Ok, first things first. We have no idea what the hunters are planning, much less when they’ll attack. Same for the dragons. Teagan said it’s been radio silent for a while. ***Cheyenne’s POV***Gunner didn’t seem phased by it, so we kept going. It didn’t take long to find Chelsea. She was giving out orders to everyone. They were all still under the impression that this was just going to be a pack BBQ tonight.
