TAIKA’S POV

It’s still night time after I went to see Ivy but still Asher isn’t yet back and I have no idea at all where he is.

I am on my bed with my legs crossed.. I place my back on the bed rest. My heart is pouring with rage right now. This is not what I really planned. Things aren’t going the way I planned them to. Asher is behaving as though he isn’t married to me. At this point I think I really need to pay Penelope another visit because I can’t risk losing everything.

I lick my lips and shut my eyes. My heart is hitting so hard and my back aches slightly. I stand up from the bed with the aim to stretch my legs. I have been sitting on the bed for like an hour now with my eyes directed at the door all this while, waiting for Asher to work in, but I guess it has been a waste of time.
