CHAPTER 91
***Lucy’s POV***
We entered the cabin together, and he pointed to the spot where the table would be. At least five people could eat in the cabin's cute kitchen. I went through his cupboard in search of a porcelain bowl to serve his favorite soup.
“Heavenly” he complimented the aroma of the soup which I cooked for him.
“Just the soup?” I asked as he suddenly snatched my entire body into his arms.
We were getting along great as a couple, but I've noticed Jacob has been lonely and depressed lately. What he was feeling was unclear to me, but I could tell that something was bothering him.
Another time, I kept a close eye on the man who appeared to be lost in his own thoughts. After spending the night in his cabin, he's been doing it for a few days now. When I saw him light up, it meant that he was dealing with a huge problem and couldn't handle it on his own.
