Chapter 82: I'm ready

DANELLE'S POV

My eyes fell down to Anushka's fidgeting hands that were resting on her lap. She was leaning her head against the window whilst looking outside, her bottom lip occasionally being tugged between her white teeth. She was a nervous wreck, even I could see that.

"Hey, are you okay?"I asked lowly, my eyes briefly shifting away from the road to her gorgeous face. I had sobered up a bit.

She nodded a bit too quickly. Her mesmerizing hazel eyes doing nothing but intensifying the need that was brewing inside of me as she stared at me"Y-yes, I'm okay"
