“Hello, pumpkin.” He greets as his eyes trail her, noting small, novel details about her.

Electra huffs out a breath and rolls her eyes.

“And sour goes the rest of my day.” She takes a U-turn back inside the house.

“Great! I’m just about happy to see you too.” He says as he steps inside the house and struggles to shut the door behind him while holding the flowers and the dress.

Electra shivers in revolt. She doesn’t look at him. “You're back early.” She points.

“Why did you lock the door?”

“Would you have preferred I left it open?” She has her back to him, exiting the room. If he can't tell that she had to rush out of the bathroom, then he is probably blind.

Anders flashes his eyebrows. “Good point.” Distracted, he stares at her swaying bum as she walks away. Definitely no panties under that shirt, leaving very little to his imagination.

Apple bum. Nice shape. Why the hell does she hide them in those hideous slacks? He tuts.

Don't they need to look around, see what they can find for themselves?” Nikas asks, looking to Irene to support his argument. “They have an emergency requiring the dispatch units in this area. The next unit will take about two hours to reach here. We can report the case ourselves within that time.” Anders explains. “It’s best to go there in person than to wait.” Melaina supports. As Melaina speaks, Irene notices her for the first time. She squints. Her mind clouded with a distant memory. Anders turns to both women. His question pushes Irene's resurfacing memory to the back of her mind. “Will you wait here until we return?” “I don't think that's a good idea.
