Chapter 57: Fair on The Pier
Olivia’s POV
Joshua looked at me with a mischievous look as the huge, colorful Ferris Wheel spun behind him. He wanted to take me somewhere I could finally listen to him without running away and I didn’t blame him since I had been stubborn in refusing to listen to him. Still, if my instincts were right, and Joshua was planning to take me up on the Ferris Wheel, then we were about to have a problem.
“Joshua, please,” I begged softly as he tugged me toward the fair on the pier.
But, all he did was grin like an excited kid. “Trust me, Via. I’ve been to this fair before. They have games, prizes, rides, photo booths, and lots of food. You’ll love it!”
