Chapter 137

For the next two days, Michael refused to let the kids go into the compound to play because he was scared that anything would happen to them. They went to work with the bodyguards, some guarded the house and the kids followed two other with Shawn as the driver since he was someone Michael trusted them with.

He was worried that anyone might try to kidnap someone again, it might not be Layla this time but it might be Angel or even June and he couldn't take any risks, they were all important to him and they each had the roles to play in his life.

Michael didn't go to work today, he wanted to work from home because he had some calls to answer and he wanted to do it at his study, the kids were currently back from school and were eating while June was upstairs in the bedroom doing her leftover work from the office.

"I can't find them, I thought I asked you to name the folder under Frank's name or didn't I?" Michael asked his secretary on call

"I must have misplaced it with Mr. Collins's f
