The driver Michael had sent picked June up from the house as soon as Angel fell asleep as he had promised. The driver dropped her home and June walked up to her porch after getting down from the car. She wondered if Michael knew where she was living as she rummaged through her bag searching for her house keys.

As soon as she found it, she walked up to the front door and was about to unlock it with the key when she sees that it is open. She wondered how her door was open since she had made sure to lock it that morning before she went out and Layla wasn't home since she was staying in school for a night class.
