Chapter 20

The next day, Michael is busy with work so he didn't drive Angel to school. He told the driver to take Angel to school while he worked on a document in the study that was due the next day. June knocked on the door to the study.

"Come in," Michael said without looking up from what he was doing, he knew it was June since they were the only ones at home.

June walked into the study with a plate of freshly washed fruits and then she dropped it on the table for Michael. She takes a peek at what he was typing and then turned to leave when she saw how busy he was.

"June" Michael called her as she was about to leave the study. She turned to look at him with confusion. He motioned for her to come closer to him and she did so

"I didn't get the chance to thank you well for what you did for me yesterday. So far you have been doing a good job, with the cooking, with cleaning and even with Angel, I'm so surprised" He said and she smiled at him.
