Chapter Twelve

"Uh...I tripped," Alexandria said, her face scrunched up in pain.

"Really? Okay, if you say so," Abby said her green eyes twinkling with curiosity.

"What are you doing here?" Alexandria said with narrowed eyes.

"What do you mean? I came to see my very beautiful friend," Abby said laughing awkwardly.

Abby averted her eyes when she saw Alexandria giving her a 'do I look stupid' look.

"Alright, I'll tell you, Stacy asked me to come here... she thinks something is wrong so she sent me here," Abby said.

"Nothing is wrong, Stace can be paranoid at times, you know how she is, don't pay attention to her," Alexandria said massaging her feet.

"Hmm okay....hey, have you had lunch? We could go have lunch together," Abby suggested with an excited smile.

"Oh, I can't, I have lots of things to do especially now," Alexandria said with a sigh.

"Oh come on...okay, let's have a girls' night out, just like old times," Abby said with a grin.

"Okay, I'll tell Stacy," Alexandria said not wanting to disappoin
