Flashback

“Professor Martin asked to collect notes,” A boy little boy asked, standing at the school admin office.

“Yes, Come here" Mrs. July, the admin officer of the school smiled looking at the little boy who joined the school six months ago.

“Take this” She gave a bundle of papers to him and He nodded.

“Hello ma'am, Where is Sir Martin's lecture,” A girly voice asked behind the boy.

“You are a New admission here,” Mrs. July asked.

“Yes…” She replied smiling at her.

“Liam, take her to your class. She is a new admission in your grade” Mrs. July said, and the boy nodded without any expression.

“Hello, I am Amber”, She said, following him, but he ignored her as he does for everyone.

“May I come in?” She asked entering before class, whereas the boy just entered, putting a bundle of notes on the table before sitting at his desk.

“Yes,” Professor Martin said.

“You are new here,” Professor Martin asked.

“Yes…” She smiled, giving a paper of the new admission.

“Ok, Seat,” Professor said looking at the paper.

She looked everywhere for a place and found an empty place beside the boy with whom she came to the class. There was no one in school whom he can call his friend because no one talked to him and everyone bully him. He was the tallest one and the elder one of all the other students in his grade. They bully him and abuse him because He did not speak to anyone and was not good in study. He was trying to cope with the trauma he was facing. His childhood was never easy and after what he saw in his childhood he became numb to everything. He was never normal and he will never be.

“Hello, I am Amber,” She again said, introducing herself and sitting beside him. He just ignored her because He know like every other student she won't seat beside him tomorrow.

“Hello.” She again asked, removing her stuff from the bag.

“Do you have an extra pen, it is not working” She said showing him her empty pen.

He gave her his and extract another from his bag. During the whole lecture, she was talking to him like he was her long-lost friend. So, after her long talk, he got to know that she got admission through a scholarship and is an orphanage and the school has the policy to offer few seats to poor students. Finally, the lecture covered and he thought she will stop.

“Who do you think you are?” She snapped, glaring at him, and her expression was annoyed. It must be because of his ignorance.

“It's none of your business,” He said sternly because his patience also run out due to her continuous talking.

“ It's so hard to say your name,” She argued.

“I dislike speaking, ”The boy snapped, not looking at her.

“So what? Why are you not talking to me” She asked?

“Because I dislike it”, He again repeated.

“I like to speak, a lot,” She said, showing her all pearls.

“Good for you” He retorted.

“You are new here” Some students came to his desk because of Amber.

“Yes, Hello All” She smiled.

“Why are you seating here,” One of them asked.

“Here was an empty place, So I seated,” She said, looking at all of them.

“Don't you know, He is the dumbo of our class” Few started laughing at him.

“Yes, He is mute too”

“He is an idiot”

“He is mean”

They all started laughing at him, and his head was down. His brain was numb, unable to know what he should do. What twelve-year-old boy can do to stop a group of boys to bully him? A tear started forming in his eyes, but he decided he does not to let them see his tears.

“Stop, Stop you all” She yelled, putting a tiny hand on his shoulder.

“He is my friend, If you all again bully him. I will report to the principal” She shouted to everyone and he heard footsteps going away from hus desk.

“Let's go to the canteen,” She said after some time.

“I am not hungry” He replied, not looking at her.

“Do you like cookies?” She asked and He nodded.

“I have cookies, Let's eat,” She said, forwarding cookies to him.

“I am Amber and what is your name," She asked.

“Liam Petrov” He answered, smiling at her. The day He found a friend in school.

Flashback End.

Ivan POV

“What happened to her,” I asked coldly, looking at the senior doctor.

“She has lost her memory” He replied smiling, not at all affected by my cold voice.

“But, Why and How did she lose her memory,” I asked.

“It can be anything, Mr. Petrov. It can be TGA. Transient global amnesia (TGA) results from a lack of sufficient blood flow (a condition called ischemia) or oxygen flow (a condition called hypoxia) to the brain. “ He explained in his medical terms.

“She cannot forget me,” I said, unable to trust his words.

“Sir, it's temporary memory loss. It will come back but when I can't tell you now but make sure she should not be alone for a long time as her memories trigger her and it could be a possibility she will faint ” He said still smiling, I don't know what good he sees in everything that he always smiles. He was who said Amber will back from a coma. I have to keep patience, and today she is back finally.

I can't believe she forgot everything. She can't forget about us, about our baby. I was waiting for her to wake up and tell me what happened to our baby and where is he. Will she be able to forgive me for my sin? So many questions need to be answered…
