Kashmir turned on her heels to look at which direction he went but to her dismay, he was going out of the restaurant. She walked fast to chase him but she wasn't able to catch up, for he walked in large steps.
She went back toward the powder room downhearted. She was wondering why he didn't recognize her.
'Maybe he forgot about me.' she thought.
'Maybe, I'll still have a chance to see him again.' She was hopeful to see him again.
After washing her hands, she went back to their table and the food was already served.
