Gaining Alliances

I bark orders during training, pushing Jeremy to his limit. I push him until he releases an outburst of protests. From what I was able to concur from all my time watching him train, is that he does not like to appear weak. He will persevere until his will is depleted. He has vomited and fainted before giving up. Not even Scott had that type of endurance or will. He was the biggest pussy I had ever seen, even Garrison had more balls.

“I’m fucking done, Rose,” Jeremy snarls when I haven’t let up in the past four hours.

He storms off before I have the chance to respond. I only roll my eyes, hiding my shaking hands. I was nervous about tonight’s meeting. He would be officially challenging his brother tonight. I wasn’t afraid of him fighting, only scared of the possibility of him losing, or rather, losing him. There was no doubt in my mind that he was ready. With all the training he had gathered in his seven years on his own and with mine, he could beat me if I wasn’t h
