Both Henry and I were unhappy about the meal. However, I didn't voice out my unhappiness like him.

It was true that children who threw tempers would be doted on. However, it would become a problem if they constantly threw tantrums.

Especially when the relationship was interconnected to interests. The more Henry shouted, the more biased Oscar was toward Christopher.

Adults would always like sensible children.

"Becca is still here. Look how you're acting now."

I spoke softly when they suddenly cued my name, "Mr. Simmons, let's have dinner."

Oscar paused momentarily and stopped scolding Henry.

I didn't eat much and was hungry the moment I arrived home. Dad sent me back with a hesitant expression on his face. It felt like he had something to talk to me about.

I spoke up as I guessed his thoughts. "Henry's quite cute."

Henry was indeed quite cute, so I didn't give a sure answer. I knew that Henry wasn't interested in me. So, allowing him to choose would give me less trouble.
