Boundaries

Only ten minutes later, Liam sends me a text saying he's outside, so I get out of the bathroom and put on the first thing I can find before heading downstairs to make sure my parents aren't around.

Fortunately the coast is clear, so I go outside and let Liam in. I take his hand and lead him to my room quickly, locking the door behind us.

"What's wrong?" he asks when we're safe, his scent is thick with worry and he’s looking me up and down as if he wants to make sure I'm okay, "Something happened?"

I really need to hug him and breathe him in, so I just do that. Liam is still confused, but he responds to my hug and lifts his hand to comb my wet hair back as I bury my nose in his neck and take a deep breath. He smells warmer than usual.

"Ugh... you smell like Theo," he comments, filling me with horror. Fuck, he has a good nose, "Did you see him today? Did he do anything to you? Because I'll kill him for you, no questions asked. I've been looking for excuses to kill him for years."
