Chapter thirty-three

Bryson POV

She stood by the side bent over perusing through the series of books lined up on the shelf while I bundled in the book.

"All set, we should get going before the park members return from their run," I said.

She snapped out of her trance, her body trembling to the bid of my husky voice.

"Really… if it's for the park, then we should get going." She said pointing to the version beside him when she suddenly glanced at it making me look at her.

"No, I am done with them, I'm training with them tomorrow, just that I have got something to do."

"Oh is that so, extra activities?"

"Yes, will be travelling away from the pack house."

" I can only imagine."

"That?" I raised my brow, trying to grasp onto what she was thinking.

"You said you love it by the sea, maybe it's because you want to go there, you know something probably like that."

There was an unending silence between us and I scoffed at her. Her theory was quite catchy but in her voice were cracks, fragments of emotion
