AQUAMARINE’S POV

The man's eyes seemed to bore into my soul, and I felt a knot twist in my stomach. Suddenly, red liquid spilled out of the mouth of the man in front of me and I gasped in horror.

“W-what–” I stammered.

I suddenly tasted bile in my throat as I watched in slow motion. The man's pupils dilated as he coughed out more blood.

His gaze dropped, and I followed it, trembling in fear.

Then I saw it.

Lycan Alexander's arm.

It was inside the man's chest. A loud shriek finally escaped my lips. My gaze flew to Lycan Alexander, but he didn't look bothered by it.

Not even a single look of empathy.

Instead, he smirked, twisted his hands further, and pulled something out.

The man's beating heart.

I immediately looked away as more blood splattered on my back. I jerked up as my heart pounded loudly in my chest as I tried wriggling away from Lycan Alexander's body, but the more I did, the more he pulled me closer in his arm.

I heard a loud thud, but I didn't look back.

“Felix, is that the best you could do!?” Lycan Alexander's voice echoed, but it was more like he was mocking him.

That is it.

The Devil. Now he would live up to his name. The merciless killer.

How could he pull out someone's heart in a single move?

And what was Felix thinking? There is someone in the pack who could take on Lycan Alexander? How foolish could he be?

As Lycan Alexander walked forward, I closed my eyes, not wanting to see anything more gruesome.

Then I heard screams echoing, and my eyes flew open. I looked around to see his men charging at the rest of my pack. Slashing them with their sharp claws, but not enough to kill them.

“L-lycan Alexander, please stop.” I stuttered. Beads of sweat formed on my head as I spoke.

I know I shouldn't have, I know it was stupid of me to ask him to spare their lives after all they had put me through. But the screams erupting from their mouths were soo hideous that it didn't sit well with me.

They don't need to be dead if I want revenge. I want them alive to see me prosper.

“You can punish them as you see fit. But please don't kill them.” I begged again, but this time I managed to look at him directly in his eyes. Hoping that he would somehow understand.

But I was wrong.

He simply stared at me like I had uttered the most useless thing he ever heard. His reaction was valid, but the killing wasn't right.

At least, not now.

Suddenly, a loud clap of thunder boomed, making me jump.

I screamed and buried my face in his neck, shivering as the thunder roared more.

Memories of Beta Liam locking me outside the house on rainy nights resurfaced. I had always feared the storm but Fiona and Sarah always derived joy in using it against me.

Perhaps death was what my family needed, but it would be too easy for them. They need to feel everything I've felt before.

I tried to steady my breathing as another lightning struck.

Lycan Alexander adjusted the cloak and mumbled something before hissing. “Levi, get a maid. Tomorrow we’ll start our journey back to our pack. Tonight we will rest.”

As he walked, tiny drops of rain began to drop on my body, sending shivers down my spine. I wish he would at least walk fast to get us out of here or drop me down so I could run and get shelter.

Isn't he tired of carrying me already?

He suddenly turned back, “Make sure nobody leaves their spot and give them a level 10 punishment. I'll decide on the rest tomorrow.”

Level 10 punishment?

What in the Goddess' name does that even mean?

I was tempted to ask, but what if he decides to show me and not tell me?

Levi and a maid from the palace followed closely behind us, the maid's eyes wide with fear as she glanced at me but I looked away.

“Take us to the Alpha's room”, Lycan Alexander said, and the maid hurried forward, leading the way.

As we entered the Alpha's room, I was struck by its grandeur. The room was spacious, with a large bed at its center.

Lycan Alexander turned to the guard. "You know what to do. Make sure we are not disturbed."

“Please spare me!” The maid fell to the ground begging but Levi dragged her out as her screams echoed.

The door was shut immediately and I was left alone with the Devil.

Lycan Alexander carried me towards the bed and my heart raced with fear.

What did he plan to do with me? Would he try to force himself on me?

Without wasting time, he set me down on the floor, and I tried to gain balance as I was carried for a very long time, but my legs were soo wobbly.

I thought of running, but only a fool would. It would just be like I was running into my death.

I still didn't look at him, I couldn't. His hands came down on my face, and I flinched back, but he caught me. He grabbed the cloak on my body.

I looked at him with pleading eyes. I wasn't ready for this. No, I don't think I'll ever be ready for him.

Physically, mentally, or in any other way.

I wish I never made that promise to him. I wish there was a way to have a child without having sex, but that's like making honey without bees.

There were numerous rumors about him being a ravaged beast in bed, leaving women drained and some even unable to walk properly for days.

Yet, they came back begging for more.

He growled and yanked the cloak off my body, leaving me to shiver under the cold air.

My wolf kept hammering in my chest, ragging me to accept him but….. my body and my mind were weak. I couldn't even stand properly.

Shouldn't he show mercy? Would he really have sex with me after seeing me in this state?

Battered? Exhausted?

He stepped back, staring at me from head to toe, yet, I couldn't read him.

Maybe he hated my body. Somehow, it made me happy that he thought that way; maybe he would change his mind.

I tried to cover myself with my hands with the pieces of my old gown I still had on but my efforts were futile.

“Stop,” he ordered, and I froze.

I looked up at him and he moved closer to me, nodding in approval. My eyes danced across his chest.

Scars, lots of them. Evidence of his victories and murders.

His hand went to my hair, he closed his eyes and sniffed it and my heart instantly jumped to my stomach. When he was done, his hand traveled down my breasts, molding them and lifting them.

Like he was weighing them.

My breathing hitched as my wolf sparked to life at his touch. Whining and begging me to take charge, but I refused.

It's still too early.

Maybe if I didn't give in to his touch now, he would leave me. I moistened my lips and tried my best to ignore the goosebumps that had spread across my skin.

Fear? Anxiety? Pleasure?

All of them were hitting me at once.

Then his fingers went to my nipple, twisting, tapping, and pinching it.

A moan tore from my lips as my wolf finally took control. My pussy clenched involuntarily. I held his arm to balance myself and I shut my eyes.

Rubbing my thighs only made it worse and another moan escaped my lips.

My mind was in a daze. I couldn't push him away or stop him. I never imagined my body would respond this way to a touch before.

But he just growled slowly. His hand skimmed the surface of my belly and traveled down to my privates. Butterflies fluttered in my belly and my mind went into a frenzy.

“W-Wa—,” My voice failed me.

I gasped as he clasped it, running a finger through my soaked folds.

I swallowed hard and my breathing hitched. My legs shook like leaves in summer and I bit my lips to suppress the sinful sound that came out earlier.

I shouldn't have been enjoying it, but I couldn't stop the moans from spilling out of my mouth or the way my heart was pounding very loudly in my chest.

He suddenly pulled me forward, pressing my naked body against his chest, and began rubbing my clit.

I gasped as I felt his big bulge on my stomach, sending signals to my head and shivers down my spine.

Although he was still clothed, I could tell that it wouldn't fit.

I opened my eyes to see his golden-colored eyes staring at me. My heart did a flip back at the sight before my eyes traveled to his lips that were hovering against mine.

As he began circling my entrance with his finger, I felt a shiver run down my spine. His fingertip pressed inside me, and I bit my lip, my head tilting back in response. His hot breath danced across my neck, making my skin prickle.

"How can you be soo stupid?" he grunted.

LUNA AQUAMARINE’S POV One year later “NO—ODIN—SIGRID—TOP THAT!” A burst of fire streaked past my head anyway and slammed into the wall that had already been rebuilt three times this month. I groaned and chased after them, skirts hitched, hair half loose, arms already aching. I pinched the bridge of my nose as two tiny red-white and gold blurs shot past me, laughing like maniacs, like they owned the place. Well, they actually do. “Listen!” I shouted. “Don’t make me get you!—” They roared. A shrill, delighted sound that echoed off the ceiling as they flew outside, fire raining down on the pack. I stopped at the threshold, chest heaving. “…Fine,” I muttered, breathing in that sharp winter air. “Burn it all.” I didn’t follow. Nobody bothered to. If Levi and Juliet were here then they probably would have tied them to a chair by now. I leaned against the stone instead and opened my hand. My fingers curled around it slowly, grateful that they didn’t see this to pl

Gwen Silverthorn. The Dragon and his slave. His curse. But….. she looked ruined. Skin pale and peeling. Hair matted, tangled, falling out in patches. “Youuu,” she seethed Her voice sounded like claws scraping glass. “There you are,” she crooned, fingers digging into the space between Thorfinn’s scales. “My perfect flame.” Rage detonated inside me. "I don't belong to you." I slammed into Thorfinn midair, our bodies colliding with a thunderous crack. "Run,
